Surely they should boot whoever has the least points if none of them have a contract? That will motivate them both to get more points and it will show who's best under pressure too. But imo Hulkenberg doesnt deserve another chance, he had a car better than Sutil last year and scored less than half the points of him, and only scored 1 more than Liuzzi, who is getting ****ed up by Ricciardo...

Imo, he's shown enough potential to deserve another shot at F1, won GP2 and got that wonderful pole in Brazil

And here goes the pole at Brazil moment again. The fact is, he got lapped in the race! I cant remember the last time that happened when there was nothing wrong with the car. (other than this one ofcourse) He's pretty much an over-hyped driver who probably wont achieve much in his career from now.

Alonso got lapped at Barcelona after he was leading the race. However good a driver you are if your car is too slow then it is too slow.

Hulk had a slow start but in the second half of the season he was good and even if he had not got his superb pole he still deserves a chance.

You can't expect him to keep up with a car that was about 2 seconds per lap faster than his Williams. Fact is, his car had no business being in pole position and you have to give all the credit to the Hulk for that achievement. He had the balls to do what no other driver could do on a damp track. He DOMINATED qualifying.

He went out at the right time and did something brave, he could just as easily have punted it into the armco.
It was a fluke, nothing more, nothing less.

He wasn't the only one on the track at the time, and both his laps were quick enough for pole. He took a calculated risk and it paid off - yes it was brave, but it wasn't a fluke.

Then why was he so slow during the race? I assumed he used a wet setup to get pole.

Because he was the only one brave enough with the tyres on the outlap. It was a situation of circumstance.

Like Forza said there were other cars on the track at the same time. He did about 9 purple sectors in a row which shows that it was not a fluke or just being out at the right time. It was a tremendous lap, if it had been Vettel or Hamilton then people would of been wetting themselves. There were also other midfield drivers in a similar situation than him and they did not do what Hulk did.

Because he was driving a Williams.

So why was he on pole in that car then? He had a wet setup.

Told you this new deal for Force india was going to give the chance to replace Sutil.

one other benefit in his favour, on a track with a dry line.

I think it's great he got pole, but too many people use it as the "SEE? HE WAS TALENTED!" and ignore the rest of the season and the mitigating circumstances.

So you are telling me that two young feisty drivers in a developing team is sensible, that is bollocks.

Schumacher went out on the fresh tyres, he had to let the RB's past though as they were on a hot lap...

Hence he had to back off, hence he had less temperature in the tyres.

Hope this story is true, sorry for any Sutil fans but he's had a good run in the sport and not achieved anything, glad somebody else is getting a go

Yes, he had the chance... Hulkenberg did not do anything out of the norm, the team just sent him out at the right time really.
