Looking forward to it. There was a report today about Tory peer Michelle Mone using private email addresses to contact Gove and another cabinet minister about PPE offers. The money wasted, given to friends etc could have provided the poorest a decent rise to offset the rising inflation.
Having squeezed everything they possibly can out of the poor, unemployed, sick, disabled and elderly, the government turn their greedy eyes on students. They've reduced the salary threshold at which students start paying back their loans from £27,295 to £25,000 and increased the cut-off point at which unpaid loans are written off from 30 to 40 years. https://archive.ph/9yCCQ
Why on earth is he allowed to get away with this? Call it lying, misleading parliament or whatever - he should be booted out for doing it.
Well I certainly think this needs investigating... yet another conflict of interest... yet another case of do as we say not do as we do... I actually think this is a serious security risk and for him not to acknowledge the hypocrisy is yet another disgrace on a multitude of disgraceful behaviour. He's just as bad as the rest of them despite his (now tarnished) veneer of decency. Well done Jayne Secker, especially when he was done! Brilliant!! Tory peer Michelle Mone bought PPE from China for £46m and sold it to the NHS for £122m. Now that is what I would call a decent mark up.
And no doubt it was then found to be the wrong type/useless/out of date and is now festering in Felixstowe as part of the horde that is costing £1million per day to store.
This sounds worrying - the power to call an election without seeking parliament's approval reverts to Johnson, or whoever may replace. Given the track record of this current government, I can see this leading to a permanent Tory government.
Grandson is down with the virus, along with more than half of his office. It is running rampant and the bosses think that the best thing may be to shut down for a couple of weeks. Four members of the family, aunts, uncles etc also have positive LFT results and are self isolating. His other grandfather is un-vaccinated despite every one telling him he is bonkers. He is a needlephobe and cannot stand the thought of passing out in public. My daughter tells me that test kits have become difficult to obtain since it was announced they would no longer be free. How much longer can the government give the impression that it has nothing to do with them after the latest figures?
Government website says there are no test kits available in England. Rather annoyingly, those asking for one are being directed to the Scottish website.
So what has he done to help keep the numbers under control? Rather than slow the increase at birth, some of his policies seem to want to decrease the number of elderly. please log in to view this image
