What's this to do with Gerrard? My point, which I thought was quite obvious even to someone like you, was that John Terry has a reputation for being a bit of a **** purely because he is a bit of a ****. Its absolutely NOTHING to do with the media.

Are you really trying to say that Terry's "reputation" is made up by the media, and nothing to do with him being a massive cretin?

I didn't say the media didn't make things up, I said John Terry's reputation, for being a tit, wasn't made up by the media. Massive difference.

By the way, you need to stop diverting from my original point, which was John Terry is being talked about in the media because at least half of the people who have watched the video from the QPR game think John Terry might be being racist, not because the nasty media were making something out of nothing.

In regards to the accused being assumed guitly from what I've read on this forum everyone has assumed Evra is lying and called him every name under the sun so where is the difference ?

 

Eric, Evra is the accusor and not the accused hence, if he cannot substantiate his accusation then he is guilty of something - exactly what is not yet clear. That is the difference.

 

Exactly but let the FA deal with it. Most United fans have not said Suarez is guilty as we don't know either way whereas alot of Liverpool fans have already decided Evra is lying. I don't want to get drawn into it I just want the FA to get on with it so the whole ugly matter can get put to bed.

I doubt either player will be charged with anything, I don't think the FA will find evidence that Suarez is guilty, however any lack of evidence of him doing it doesn't make Evra guilty of lying as they would find it impossible to prove that

As said though I won't comment on it again as it's an ugly matter and I'd just left the FA deal with it

You're assuming, for some weird reason, that I think Gerrard is an angel. I haven't said ANYTHING either way about Gerrard in this thread, so I have no idea why you are assuming that. All you're doing here is attacking a non-existent view point of mine. So I'm not allowed to say Terry is a twat, purely because you're of the opinion that the captain of the club I support is a bit of a twat too?

And there's no hate wagon, I came to the conclusion that Terry was a twat by myself, I really didn't need anyone else to make my mind up for me.

Say, for arguments sake, you called Stephen Fry a twat, would I also be allowed to say something equally pointless like "Would you care to list John Terry's faults/ mis-demeanours?" It honestly makes no sense.

Team B Captain is a Twat

Supporter A goes upto supporter B and says "Your captain is a Twat"
Supporter B says "Your captain is a bigger Twat!"
Supporter A says "Woooah what has my captain got to do with this! I came to insult your Captain!"

Supporter A secretly thinks the sun shines outta Captain A's backside. He really cant understand why Supporter B even mentions him alongside Captain B.

Conclusion: Lots of Twats around. Supporter A is the biggest.
