I am sure that he and his family are free to choose which companies they invest in and earn money from and when to sever that link. I understand their involvement is historical and it places the Chancellor in an awkward position but the same could be said for every company that has withdrawn from Russia as a result of sanctions and taken a hit on their business.
The trouble is there are very few ethics in big money capitalism. When they try to introduce some they get themselves in a pickle. The facts are the Tories are soaked in the wealth of Russian oligarchs and their ideologies align so this is just bullshit to manipulate the papers. Sunak would not be this rich without exploiting or underpaying someone, now he’s got the opportunity to do it to all of us. If people like Sunak put more in he’d be able to do more as chancellor and share the burden. He won’t tax himself more of course. That’s the issue when poorer people elect richer people. They control the narrative. We let them. They don’t have more rights because they have more money, but they think they do.
The ****show party. This week in summary. https://www.indy100.com/politics/conservative-party-johnson-sunak-patel#l17kawx384dozgivkux
True. We don't do complicated in politics any more though. That's why people can hold such ridiculously opposing views at the same time.

I believe Abbot sent her son to private school? (Now in prison?) Corbyn private educated? Don't think Starmer went to private school? Or is you point too subtle and I have missed it?
Chumocracy in full effect there. They even had the nerve to pass a law banning profiteering from the pandemic. And all with "hard working families" tax contributions. They really are the "party for the working classes", for, as in "for" robbing those same working class people's taxes for their own personal gains. They are little more than benefit cheats, only on an industrial scale. Sickens me to the stomach the corrupt bastards.
Depends if the Tory led press are willing to share this information near election time when they realise the other alternative might be paying fair taxation or employee rights
Oh what a tangled web we weave, when first we practice to deceive! A year old now but still worth a look - https://www.sophie-e-hill.com/post/my-little-crony/
