I tend to think if we can get there Neil is a good one off game manager. I can see him organising an away game, and a one off cup final down to every fine detail. What we need now is winning streak which is the bit that concerns me, can we do that? Fingers crossed.

 

I said a few weeks ago I'm convinced that's gonna be the play off final. I also had visions on Defoe scoring the winner, but thoes chips have been pissed on

Not great at all tonight mate. Showed up again our weakness at CB. You could say they found a way to win against a team that doesnt concede many. Coming back from behind is never a bad sign. But overall that performance doesnt have Brazil worried.

Young lads did well. Gallagher looks the part.

 

I like Gallagher a lot, hope he continues to get games in the PL next season (probably have to leave Chelsea though). Needing a VAR decision doesn't fill me with confidence though, I know the Swiss don't concede many but if we are going to step it up from the Euro final and carry it into a World Cup we need to be dispatching teams like this at home and dominating.

Just had a look out of curiosity the league one playoff final is on Saturday 21st of May a week before the other 2. Not pre-empting us getting there of course but with it being a Saturday and will be televised the kick off can't be 3pm due to the live broadcasting blackout so looking at either 12.30 or 5.30 kick off neither ideal for fans travelling there and back on the same day.

 

For 20 minutes Wrexham dominated then went all wobbly and Parkinson must have given one of his stirring half time Braveheart appeals and Wrexham came out even worse in the second half. Thank fcuk that Dover's players are part time and they just didn't have the fitness to last right through such an end to end game and that the ref penalised them for their time wasting antics.

 

International weekends are dull enough when it’s the qualifiers but a weekend of friendlies?
