I've just looked at the PL site and apparently it's 16. I assume then that the winter break - that we were told we so desperately need - will be sacrificed in order to accommodate the WC being played at a ridiculous time in a ridiculous place.
Whole things a bad joke tbh. As usual ill be keeping an eye on the lfc players but probably won't watch much, I never do really I'm just not a fan of international football at all.
I'll watch it when there's no real football on, but I can't get emotionally involved at all. I'm really put off them because of the constant disruption they bring to the domestic season. I just don't care enough (at all) about the national team. Back in the Dark Ages I used to like the Home Internationals, but that might have been because there was precious little other footie on the telly.
I think FIFA are hacking off lots of fans with this ludicrous location and time for the competition. Obviously, it was all above board(sure) but the competition has been damaged by this. I don’t know what the Prem season will be like with such a big break
it should never ever happen again. EVER. the corrupt people who bought this and killed hundreds building their death bowls will have their sports washing but i won't watch any of it. blatter and his ilk were charged after this.
"The free return bus journeys 'will ensure that up to 5,000 Liverpool and Manchester City supporters will be able to travel to Wembley Stadium free of charge', their statement said". Yeah, like that's going to solve the problem. Still, I suppose all the other seats will be filled by corporate clingons anyway.

Saw some of under 21 game. Noni Madueke looked a real handball. Powerful and pacey. Played out on left wing but is left footed so would be suited to RW position. Currently at psv after moving from spurs couple years ago. One to keep an eye on there
Caomhin Kelleher is in goal for Rep of Ireland against Belgium tonight 5PM. Origi expected to play for Belgium. Funnily enough, De Bruyne is being rested because City have so many important games coming up. It’s on Sky Sports
Everton are considering cutting ties with Alli, which would be a major loss for Tottenham given that the north London side has not received a single penny for his services so far. Spurs let the 25-year-old leave in a deal that would be paid in instalments, but the first payment of £10million will only be played when Alli has made 20 first-team appearances, which now appears unlikely.
Richarlison: "Everybody in England hates Liverpool. Everyone is obsessed with Van Dijk, but he's not the best defender in the world. Thiago Silva, Marquinhos and Sergio Ramos are all better than him."
surely they would have to pay up the remainder of his contract if they did that which unless he has been a complete knob around the place seems a bit like cutting off your face to spite your nose .
Is it me or does the grass on pitch at Wembley look very long. Ball seems to be moving so slowly through it.
Meh must be paper talk. Can’t see anyone writing off a player after 2 months, especially when it’s a player that’s bene out of form so may take some time to perform again.
