Most people wouldn't go to work if they let their morals get involved. Fashion? Health and beauty products. Everyone's living in sin and I personally don't have the time or energy to care about world politics.

Good on the people that do, but they're wasting their time in the same way Linda mccartney was wasting hers.

Not saying I'm completely devoid of emotion or sympathy and I know it's bad but when push comes to shove I only care about myself and my football team.

Never been mate, and no desire to go, it reminds me of Disney's Carousel of Progress, people would rightly say it's absolutely nothing like it, but to me the ideology is the same. Afterall let's face it, that's all Dubai has become, a grander man made disney for adults, although I wouldn't suggest hugging anyone called Mickey out there.

If lots of people didn't watch it would affect the global TV audience figures and the money made.

I've no desire to go to Dubai but your point is valid. Still not watching though.

    Agreed, do not get it.

I understand if you're gonna have a kick about and call it a friendly for fitness reasons.

But televise the thing and commentate and discuss it in a studio like it was a real match. What a waste of my goddamned time.

Best thing about major tournaments in far away lands is the kick off times

I enjoy a match on the telly at an obscure time

looking forward to 10am games but must admit I prefer the tournaments where Ko is nearer midnight our time

but looking forward to wake n bake footy nonetheless

I'm reminded of times like when we beat Argentina in a friendly six months before a world cup, while they snigger at us for thinking we've arrived only for us to be ripped apart in the tournament itself.
