Asked how he knew it was on the Polish-Ukrainian border, but have got no response. Another Sentry was patrolling the same bit of sky today - above Romania and at the elbow bend of the Carpathians only today they never left that spot to fly down to the coastal region like they did yesterday. What they did have over the Polish- Ukrainian border were a US and a UK Rivet Joint plus a Guardrail again flying a Y-shaped patrol over Lithuania.
I think the ones headed to Romania and Bulgaria will be handily placed for keeping Russian troops in Moldova quiet and, if needed, for crossing into that bit of Ukraine below Moldova. Can't see much use putting battlegroups in Hungary and Slovakia though, too many mountains between them and Ukraine - although it might just be a show of political will and they are a safe place to forward stage some reserves. Interesting point about today's E3 Sentry - it flew from a base in Turkey and that is the first time I have seen any of the aircraft fly from there.
They are using a Turkish drone to devastating effect from some of the videos I've seen. Bayraktar TB2 I believe it's called.
Aye, a Ukrainian group put out a song about the Bayraktar drone and have just done an English version - they should enter it for the Eurovision!
It is extremely worrying, but thank goodness Trump is not in power who wanted to pull America out of NATO and in a recent outburst stated he would have sent American planes into Russia to bomb them with Chinese colours on them.
People are actually saying putin wouldn't have started the invasion if trump was still president but your right thank god he wasn't in power cause ww3 would've started
