Reportedly a leading Russian battleship has been destroyed. Same ship that RT was hailing as a massive moment in the war when it arrived in Ukraine.
This is why NATO countries train soldiers to act independently from direct orders, fog of war causes so much confusion and if you're reliant on a single man directing everything you're ****ed if he vanishes. Exact reason why Arab nations have traditionally such **** modern militaries, dictators want their soldiers directly under the control of people friendly to the regime and those people often lack any experience and god forbid if they die you're men are completely useless. Russia has a tinpot army.
If this war has made any statement about Russia, it's that without nukes they're not nearly the military threat they posture themselves as.
There is a great video on Youtube, about an hour long that breaks down the Russian military, expenditure and other things which shows that the figures within the Russian military are greatly overblown. I made this point on our board a few weeks back.. But when you think of the sheer size of Russia's nuclear arsenal for example, which costs a ton to maintain, you're now talking about a large portion of the defence budget being used on something that realistically the country can never, ever utilise. It's quite frankly a waste of money. When they show their navy numbers too, they also include the unarmed coast guard ffs, and armed Police at home are included in the army as paramilitary. Its like if the UK included your local PCSO in the armed forces figure as a paramilitary.
If they've hacked in to the Russian Central Bank they don't need any demands. Just transfer it all over to the Cayman Islands innit. Then release the documents.
He's also givng an incorrect answer to the question. In my eyes, considering the sanctions against Russia, I would class him as a PEP (politcally exposed person). Examples: PEPs in Government Roles Legislative Bodies: An example is a Member of Parliament & Spouse or partner So trying to say he is an elected member of parliament and his wife is not, is skirting round the truth. I'm sure these fookers don't understand the first thing about sanctions. https://risk.lexisnexis.com/insights-resources/article/what-is-a-politically-exposed-person In basic terms, a Politically Exposed Person is someone who, through their prominent position or influence, is more susceptible to being involved in bribery or corruption.
Depends what you mean by "not nearly". I think the vast majority of countries including Ukraine without all the military backing of the western world, would fall to Russian military. What it does show however, is that the U.S. most definitely, and probably the U.K. (although not in numbers but advanced tech) are stronger militarily than Russia in any conventional war. China too I'd imagine.
Well get ****ed more and more again and again Until you take away all the incentives for corruption from our poltitcs, which would be easy enough, no conflicts of interest allowed what so ever, no fuking donations from big corps allowed ect, and if anyone tells me how diffic3that would be I agree because these soggy biscuit ****s have rigged it that way and we've let them do it. At the moment politics is exactly what you'd get into if fraud and theft on a huge scale was your choice In life. I dont trust not fuking one of em. Not one.
Well certainly if you're Latvia or Lithuania you don't want to take them on. Finland better hurry up and join NATO after all the Russia yachts they've seized and support they've offered Ukraine... Russia might not be happy with Finland and we're not bound to protect them.
This grates me, as his wife is her own person. In any other scenario people would be going crazy saying that he shouldn’t be controlling her. You can’t win in this modern world
