Am I the only one that noticed Suarez kissing the badge after his first goal yesterday... I hope this doesn't become a habit as i'm not too fond of badge kissers... especially when they have been at the club less then a year. sorry to sound negative and all as it was a great win
I did notice it as well... I think it might be a spur of the moment thing. He was buzzing after getting the goal so he did do the whole badge thing.
I know what you mean Bozz. It makes me nervous after the whole Torres saga and how loyal he appeared to be. I don't think Suarez is a loyal player either. We need to make sure our team is good enough...
I remember Robiniho kissing the badge when he scored on his debut for City As for Suarez he seems like the sort of player who loves playing for the club, I'll see it as a good thing for now
I actually noticed this too, don't really like it either. For players like Carragher, Gerrard, fair enough. Robinho thought he was a Chelsea player at one point
I don't think Suarez is a loyal player either. We need to make sure our team is good enough...
and what facts do you base this assumption?
and what facts do you base this assumption?
It is an assumption and therefore does not require facts. It's an opinion.
Maybe he was biting it? In this day age I don't care of if they are from La Paz, Surrey, Munich, London, Moscow, etc everyone has a price and will look to one up if they can, especially if they are still young. Hence why I no longer get kits with the name on the back.
That's not really fair. If you work for an employer but find a better job, you'd have few qualms about leaving. What's the difference? As for us fans, we should enjoy their skills whilst they are with us and protect ourselves from situations like Torres. I support Liverpool Football Club, players come and players go but the club goes on forever.
For me players from miles away who have been with us for 6 months are not loyal as yet. They know stuff all about Liverpool realy. I'll believe he is loyal when he he's been with us for 5-6 years. Otherwise you get your fingers burnt like with Torres.
Let me clear up my difference, there is a way to go about it. Torres left us in a tough spot and left on bad terms, same with Owen, but ALonso, Riise, left the right way, were here for a few years got embedded, never said a bad thing about the club, and we knew they were leaving and why. THey said thank you, etc. Torres has and is still ****ting on the club. That I guess is the biggest difference if you catch my drift?
I didn't say you couldn't. I was just asking you for confirmation, as it means I can now put you onto my "Idiots to ignore" list alongside the other forum drama queens.
I see nothing wrong with it, just scored a later winner to put us through at a ground we havent won at for over 10 years and clearly very very happy, it means he loves the club and enjoys playing for us.
