Good chance to make it 2 in a row, especially if Washo and CB-T are still fit. Probably no change to the line-up although Lee might be dropped from the bench. We may even see John, since Albie is out of favour.
A little bit of belief goes a long way - with Washington, Stockley and Fraser in the mix we can win games - the defence is a worry though
Got to think Burton will have a lot more about them than woeful Gillingham. But there's always a chance... UP THE ADDICKS!
At last- a song for Dobbo. Doesn't have the same ring though when you can't sing "used to be sh1te". Lavelle had his best game, which is reassuring, against a very good player. Fraser gets in good positions but needs to shout for the ball more, and I think he'll be a very good player for us. And another good game for the duracell Bunny.
A happy day out at the Valley Great effort from the lads, a bit of route one and a clean sheet win I was a bit surprised by the dour attitude of the little group of Burton fans; In the second half ironically singing "We've had a shot" (when they had a shot) and even a few mournful rounds of "We're f**king sh*t". They've had a decent enough season haven't they? And I thought their players put plenty of effort in. Can't see what they were so miserable about - yes, their team lost. But not in a shameful manner. Hey ho. The idiot who ran on the pitch "for a laugh" won't think it's so funny for the next few years. But that's his loss. A few minutes later I heard a few fans around me moaning that 5 minutes of stoppage time went up Unfortunately morons invading the pitch are counted as a stoppage. All in all a satisfying afternoon though, well done JJ and the boys
Additional note: the miserable Burton away fans I just realised Burton's away form has been dreadful. And of course it will be this same few hundred die-hard away supporters who have had to watch it again and again. Now I can understand their glass-half-emptiness. But cheer up lads! You're not having a terrible season
Although Stockley ran his heart out he only received one decent cross all game, from Fraser, right on his head, and he couldn't jump high enough to get decent power on it, and the goalie made an easy save.
