Tbf Bellamy is meant to be a nice bloke. Think he was a bit of a dick when younger but matured and when was with us and city was actually quite mature. On the pitch gave everything

 

I used to like a Johnson. At some points his defending really improved and he seemed to get a lot of unfair stick based on reputation rather than actually his form. Find it’s a bit like Trent who gets tarnished with this ‘can’t defend’ brush just because he’s not maldini, but the guy is a solid enough prem defender who is just exceptional going forward.

don’t forget Johnson could also play left back so offered versatility.

 

I believe he's very big into charity now actually. Just keep him away from golf clubs.

 

Trent can play LB as well - for a minute or two after a corner.

I'm trying to think of Liverpool players that I couldn't take to. I'm struggling. A few left under a cloud like Owen, Coutinho and Torres, that left a bad taste but I can't think of any I outright disliked while with us.

I think I'm just a contrairist. When everyone else is being pessimistic I tend to be optimistic and when people are being optimistic I tend to be pessimistic.
