We're in the not yet, hopefully not at all, minority. For the first time in ages last we went to a dear friends birthday party and were apart from one or two others in a group of about 30 who hadn't caught the bug. Most if not all including us had tested some before and after arriving. One friend got so sick after double vaccination he was on the point of intubation. Others had stories that confirmed the irrational effects of the virus, a healthy sporting 40 year old was very sick, his 80 plus grandmother had a long lasting headache and few other symptoms. We'll be having a party for Mrs Jab's birthday in July and were happy to know that frequent self testing was the norm for most and always done before gatherings such as last night's excellent affair. Worth noting to many of our friends employers provided free test kits and promoted there use. It's becoming the new normal where testing and vaccination programs lead to the suppression probably not irradication of the virus.

We recently booked flights to Indonesia for our first visit to family and friends in September. We expect vaccine passports and pre and post travel testing to be required to avoid quarantine. It wouldn't bother us if it was a condition of travel.

Stay safe all don't think covid is over because restrictions have been removed.

Good job we lost then really, otherwise you'd have to test positive at every home game.

Best wishes for a quick recovery <ok>

Mrs LTL has it currently, but so far I’ve swerved it. Long may it last. Just a sore throat and a bit of tiredness for her.

    Get well soon, No7!

Same for me. I only tested as I felt like I had a hangover this morning and haven’t had a drink for about 6 months so thought it was weird.

At least you are over the worst we hope.

I just have glass in my throat and am tired. Heart rate is up to an ave of 77bpm (my normal resting is 55bpm) but blood oxygen still around 98%. Hopefully that will be it and Mrs No7 hasn’t got anything and is negative. Just found out my Dad who came to football with me on Sunday has it too - same symptoms as me.

I've now started to show potential mild symptoms (high temperature, sore throat, fatigue). Now isolating until I get my PCR test result.

I woke up this morning and really struggled to get out of bed. I went into work as I thought a strong coffee would perk me up. Then my temperature started to rise and then I knew I had to get tested.

I do but advice is to get a PCR test if you're showing symptoms. And as I work with someone who could be vulnerable I thought I would play it safe.

Good luck to all you sickies, hope it clears through quickly.
My apartment block has extended it’s lockdown period as a result of more cases in the building. They are targeting 1st April for relaxing things, subject to no more cases occurring.
Meanwhile I keep my head down and wear masks when in supermarkets.
Still going for walks and today clocked up 100 miles since the beginning of March.
Not bad for a fat, old git.

Seems to be a nasty cold around. Took Covid tests because friend had it...all negative. Getting better now but had cough for 4 weeks or more. Some people with Covid seem to have this nasty productive cold at the same time.

Decided to log walks last year and almost got to 1000 in a year. Included walking to town and work though

Just started again from March and at around 65 so far

Country Walking mag has a 1000m challenge

Hang in, this is the Covid thread!
Had that too and still dealing with dodgy throat, fatigue and a bit of viral depression

Get well soon all you fellow sufferers

Just checked back to when the records started, beginning of June last year, and I am currently on 866 miles.
I have a route which takes me round and across the common, which comes to just over 6 miles a trip.
I am strictly a dry weather walker. Any suspicion of rain and I don’t go out so making the most of the current spell of good weather.
