    Its certainly looking that way....

Confidence shot to pieces, getting thumped by mediocre sides....
Paying average players astronomical salaries with little to no chance of recouping the transfer fees they paid out in the first place.
Committed to buying a stadium they probably now cannot afford.
But worst of all, they are now in the middle of the sanctions situation with their biggest benefactor being personally sanctioned and the owner actually works for this guy... Bad days ahead at Goodison I think.

Aye they've spent huge sums of money over the last few seasons and what do they have to show for it? The last 2 managerial appointments have been truly baffling. In real, real danger of going down

I can see Everton go into complete meltdown..... Next game for them should be interesting.. Moyes taking on his former club, dance to put another nail in the coffin.

And an away game at Liverpool coming up soon.

That could be one of their biggest ever Derby matches ...

... Liverpool chasing the title and Everton fighting the drop.

Before that they're away to Burnley where they'll have Richarlison sent off and lose.

They should have stuck to the model that has seen them do ok for years in getting cast offs from Liverpool,Man U and now City.

I hope its not a case of "Top 4 gone, soft spot for old club".

  8. <laugh> <laugh> No chance! He'd lose respect from everyone at Hackney Wick if he tried a stunt like that. Even Moyes isn't that daft.

It's funny what a soft spot for a club can do though. I remember the last day of the season when Hull went down about 8 year ago.The Mags were in the **** and could've went down, but West Ham let them win. Nolan from 5 yards out, middle of the goal just blasted the ball wide, turned around and jogged away when any other player would have their heads in the hands or shouting "for **** sake" having missed a golden chance to score. I have a funny feeling Everton will beat West Ham.

It always sticks in my mind when the away fans sat in the South Stand, I sit in the SW, we used to have some very very good banter with away fans, but I'll never forget how vile the young Everton fans kids were, swearing, Vs up, just out with their pissed Dads egging them on to shout bloke ish style language etc. Always remember that. That and the piss and vinegar seething faces of Man U fans whe City won the leauge. haha.
