Talk of the semi being moved from Wembley given the lack of trains back to the northwest from London that day. Will wait to see what’s more important to the FA, the fans, or making the money to continue to pay for Wembley's extortionate costs.
OT would probably be the best venue for both sets of supporters as the capacity is high and it's close but Villa Park has also been mentioned which used to be a regular SF venue years ago and is still within reach of all.
With Woy as manager, I'd have done one too! Edit; think that might have been Mascherano actually. Torres left under Kenny (he then signed Suarez and Carroll)
That’s how I remember it but Torres was getting on and when he was looking at going he was promised that signings would be made and we would be challenging for trophies And we let Masch go and we had Roy at the helm and brought in Poulsen etc Whilst I completely disagreed with a player being like that I accept they are and Torres wanted to win trophies so I never had beef with him. He had gotten old and probably knew his game was based around his speed which was deteriorating.
Personally find the semi and final both being at Wembley a bit crap. Villa Park, Old Trafford, even Cardiff Millenium could work.
Mascherano gave rafa the I really don't want to but OK 1 more year.then kicked his way through it and ****ed.off and still got abuse. However the original point I made was torres.was the first real utterly idolised lfc super star for the modern era where it was near hysteria. He did **** us over as explained above and the point was actually that he is a learning to just.say fcuk off to.any player who thinks he's it.
I can agree with the sentiment The club should be in control for me but then I am sure that arguments can be made as to why that shouldn’t happen also. When’s the next game
When Cardiff hosted games when Wembley was being built they should have secured some games like these as a permanent thing. Welsh FA are a bunch of idiots though.
I have to say that I agree on the semi final. I know going round the grounds to neutral venues had its own obvious issues but there is a case to save fans money while spreading the wealth about. Lfc v city is a blatantly obvious old Trafford game where we can piss all over their **** hole The other one is an obvious Wembley OR white Hart Lane. We used to see villa Park and a few others but now it's just Wembley. It's not in the fa's interest to give money away so going to the rugger buggers in Wales for the millennium stadium is just lost slush fund money for them
Wembley was only ever used for finals before, it helped make Wembley special because you only played there if it was a final (or international). The massive overspend on rebuilding Wembley meant they needed to cash in wherever possible.
Totally agree on leaving Wembley to the final only we have just had an example where our fans are singing, we’re going to Wembley Does my nut in lol
The only gamed they do it for is the fa cup semi. It really is just having a jolly for the fa and making money. But then the prize money for the fa cup is only about 4mil and the uefa super cup is more. So for all the effort and tv money that's in the thing there's very little incentive to go long if you can take more elsewhere. We are due to clear 85mil on the cl I read someplace. Not half bad. The fa use these things as slush funds so they don't think of the fans etc
Welcome back, you miserable twat. Where have you been? There's been some other really negative ****er on here while you've been absent
So Pogba is saying he suffered depression whilst Jose was manger. All Jose did was see what a chancer he is and not pander to him.
