Manager level is ok, i watch quite a lot of MLS and they have some good managers/coaches over there. The problem comes with owners, most are pure businessmen and see any club they buy as a cash cow, they will also push the super league through eventually when there's enough of them. Imagine that, 10 teams playing the Soccerball World Series every year.

Yank sports are miles better in terms of competitiveness compared to football. Structure is completely different though so almost impossible to implement here in the same way. To my knowledge all American sports teams make money because they have the salary cap, which is decided based on total revenue of the sport from the previous year. All money generated in say the NFL goes into a central pot and then is split across all 32 teams evenly. They then work out what the total should be for each team to spend on players wages whilst still ensuring that all teams owners make money. This obviously is nothing like how football is run here, plus throw in no transfer fees and no draft/college level and works completely differently. They will probably try and make it as Americanised as possible if enough of them are in charge
