Yeah we definitely need that option at the least, I don’t think we missed or needed one yesterday but Conte was able to call on Fabregas and Eriksen at his last two jobs and so having a player like that - even the Dane himself - here at Spurs will be ideal. Having that as the fourth midfielder with Bentancur, Hojbjerg and Skipp to choose from, with one of White, Devine or Sarr in reserve, gives us good options in the midfield next season.

To be fair RCL, as much of a colossal prick as Zouma is (and I certainly have no love for an ex-Chelsea player), Son going down the way he did was completely embarrassing. I don't know if he was trying to get him booked or sent off, but it was utterly pathetic.

    Reguilon's overreaction wasn't much better.

Didn’t notice this during the game, bit naughty that. Doubtful but it could be something the FA look at:

Antonio clearly got pissed off that Romero bullied and bossed him until he got hauled off, so took out his frustration beforehand on Dier.

I said from the very start he's a **** for doing it and that I didn't condone it at all, so that kinda ****s all over your attempt at whataboutery.
You, on the other hand, imply that you support lying and cheating is good if it gets you want you want.
That's scummy, teacher aren't you? no surprise there.

By the immense standards that Kane sets,
yes he should have been more clinical with his opportunities.

Moyes says we didn't create anything and just sat back, letting the Scammers have the ball

That was a naughty one - a real cheap shot! Taylor won't admit missing it so no action will be taken I am sure...

Em's got quite a deep voice, doesn't she?

Son going down was probably an attempt to get Taylor to do something, which was never going to happen.
Stupid and unnecessary, which sparked an equally stupid and unnecessary reaction from Reguilon.
Especially dumb to do it in a game that we were basically controlling and our opponent was struggling.
Conte should have a word with both of them.

    That's twice in two games.
Dier was still sporting the bandage from Maupay doing something very similar.

David Moyes is obviously doing a very good job at West Ham.
I found his decision to start 9 of the same 10 outfield players from Thursday a little strange, though.
Their squad's not the biggest, but surely tiredness should figure into his thinking?

They desperately need another striker in the summer, in my opinion.
Bowen and Rice will have other clubs sniffing around too, which could be a big issue.
The way that they finish the season could change everything for some players.

They don't have the squad to compete on two fronts and ironically I would say their progression to face Lyon - which will be a far harder test that Sevilla - threatens to ruin what is otherwise on paper a relatively easy run of league games - Everton, Brentford and Burnley. The other side of that, they face Chelsea, Arsenal and City as 3 of their last 5 games.

So in summary, my point is they could well finish 8th, which wouldn't be a tragedy at all.

Seems as though Lesta and the Spanners were given
opportunity to exploit the negation of the bigger clubs
    during the Corona chaos.

Now that the latter is effectively over, it similarly seems
the window of opportunity has closed. As you say, players
in such clubs who have had a small taste of UEFA land etc
may now be sorely tempted come the summer.

For some reason I thought Antonio was more clinical than he is, yet to score more than 10 league goals in a season. Surprised me that, kind of told myself he'd hit about 15 in each of the last few seasons.

They've gotten a little lucky Chelsea have been hit with sanctions (assuming they last) as I think Rice would've almost certainly left this summer to join them.

Bowen will probably stick around I think, good player but not sure he'd get much higher than West Ham at the moment, not from an XI perspective anyway, he'd definitely make a good number of top four/ six squads.

That is one obvious plant (even Expressions would have been more subtle) .
