A week of crossing practice needed...we've put so many over everyone or straight out for a goal kick.
This game could last another 60 minutes and we wouldn't score. Needed to bury the game in the first half but as per usual, we lack the killer instinct and 1-0 became 1-1. Need to face it - we're a limited team punching above our weight and anywhere close to a top 10 finish should be lauded.
Someone needs to hide the pills from Hammersmith - this result/performance could drive him over the edge!
At least eight minutes of injury time, with Posh faking a head injury to get an extra sub on too - WTF
Bloke who had a leg injury stayed on because they had used all 3 subs' then goes down holds his head after the ball gently hit it. Gets subbed based on concusjion!
So...... Warburton has run out of ideas and time. Obviously he should stay till the end of the season, but then we need to look elsewhere. Today, we pressed a poor looking team well in the first half, but we didn't play well. It was incredibly scrappy and Peterborough looked very dangerous on the break. Adomah was poor, McCallum wasn't much better. All three centre backs looked all over the place at times. Field has dropped in performance level from very good to ok. Dozzell does very little for me. Amos is either excellent or, more often awful. Chair is becoming hugely over rated, coughing up possession and dwelling on the ball far too much. Gray has improved, but missed an easy header today. Austin is clearly reaching the end. Warburton seems to have completely run out of ideas and defensively we look like novices. Those substitutions today were inept in the extreme, as were the ones against Forest. Can anyone explain the thinking behind today's changes? As limited as he is, why take Gray off when we needed goals? Why keep tinkering (injuries aside)? Ok, we're clearly not good enough for the play offs, but I honestly think we have blown a chance at a shot at them with poor management. Those loud boos which greeted Warburton's substitutions were very telling imo. Having said all that, there's no point replacing Warburton with just anyone. I'm sure he'd probably keep us up next season! That may be all we can hope for, if we lose Willock and one or two more.
Never booed my team but delivered my ultimate sanction by leaving early and therefore not applauding them. Shocking display. Time for the F1.
Ineffective upfront, shaky at the back… losing balls and no ideas on the midfield… only westwood gets the clean papers..,
Good stop to keep it at 1-3 and not 1-4, but shambolic that it is them having the best chance in extra time. Really poor, no killer instinct against the team bottom of the league. Really poor.
Quite happy that airport collection duties prevented me from going today, and also relieved that other commitments mean I can’t get to the Fulham game, which could be carnage, either.
I don't want to listen to Warbs post match bolloc£s. Its the same crap now. How inept must he be to lose 3 times to the worst team in the division? Surely he could have worked them out by now? I keep saying that he started changing things after the ACON and we have not been the same since. Embarrassing.
