Knickers in a twist over an opinion you boring old man As always thanks for your empty input to a discussion Chazz.
Grant mk 2 took a few years to achieve. Shota is just about sustaining it in his first few weeks while learning the league
You’re a slimy little **** there’s a real danger of losing free speech in this board we’ve lost one great poster due to this and there is an element of sneering pricks from a now defunct board trying to impose their pretentious ways on this board
I agree with everything you’ve just said. Don’t see why you’re targeting me to make that point? dunno if I’ve rubbed you the wrong way or something but I see no problem with being called a slimy **** if that’s your opinion Chazz certainly wouldn’t expect you to be banned or some **** just here to talk football and you’re being all emotional about it
You just told him to **** off, how is that encouraging discussion and not trying to shut him down? We've lost a hell of a lot more good posters to people with bullshit opinions and pointless, petty attacks than we have over freedom of speech. **** like this isn't needed; we're all City fans, we all have opinions, we can be constructive when it comes to talking football.
That's basically all he has to do. We literally have to survive and we get a pretty large amount of money to spend in the Summer. Tan Kesler has some very good contacts around Europe, it's going to be a very interesting Summer.
We’ve lost a great poster cos he was reported for his opinion on here But you carry on having a go at me
Do you think I did that or something? I don’t believe that should’ve happened but it feels like you’ve got the viewpoint I do?
I'm not having a go at you at all, I just don't see how telling people to **** off is in anyway conducive to discussion? You'll have different opinions, no doubt, but it shouldn't have to get to that stage, on either side.
I've heard a couple being bandied about, some kid from Uruguay was mentioned named Alfonso Trezza, apparently recommended by one Abel H. Too early to be talking confirmed targets though.
At the end of the day we were beaten by the better side, I was impressed with Luton, clearly has molded a very good group. However, their 3 goals were avoidable and mistakes made by us gifted them. It's clear that Shota just wants to make sure we get to the end of the season still in this division and then reshape the team. I thought Ingram had a poor game, he should have done better with their first goal, and he never even made an attempt for their 3rd, even though it was a well taken free-kick. Jones and McLoughlin didn't look comfortable, which after Wednesday's performance was strange, you would have thought they would have been high on confidence? Docherty IMO has not stepped up to Championship level, he has great energy, but lacks discipline and his touch and passing are poor. Why Slater didn't play after Wednesday's performance I find rather odd! He is clearly on the ball better than Docherty and can pass the ball as well as keep the shape of the team better. Smallwood was poor, Honeyman tried hard with little success, Elder is not a patch on Fleming and also had a poor game. Eaves and KLP were the only bright spots in the game, both tried to make something work. We have to bear with it until the end of the season, I think it's going to be up and down performances, this group tries hard, and when they are at it 100%, as they were Wednesday night, then they can get results. But it shows the lack of quality when they are off it by 5%, they lose games. Better teams can be off it by 5 or 10% and still manage to get results, but we are not good enough. We have to see what business is done in the summer and let Shota build his own squad, then we can judge him on whether he is going to do a good job or not. Finally, before these 3 games last week, I thought if we get 4 points, then that would be about par for the course. We got that, not quite how I would have expected, but one win, a draw, and a loss is an okay return in order position. With 7 games to go, 8 for Barnsley, 13 points ahead and a better goal difference, we should be more or less home and dry.
Eaves just doesn’t have the heart for the game. While he pulled the ball down a few times he just isn’t aggressive enough. talking to a poster on here at half time and the first thing we both said was why didn’t eaves attack that cross from honey man He had to put his head in where it hurts and he made an ineffectual token attempt The centre back was 4-5 in CG es smaller then him ffs Contrast him with their centre forward 2 out of our three centre backs didn’t fancy it at all He played on Jones’ side and caused him constant problems, Jones didn’t seem to want to go near him
A lot of people saying there wasn’t much between the 2 sides , I have to disagree: I say this a lot but we are all huff and puff , we always look like a side in a cup game competing against a Higher level , any half chance we create takes a lot of effort , while I thought some of Luton’s players , especially in midfield walked through the game , could have stepped it up if they needed too . Repeating myself again but still staggers me how Hudd doesn’t get more game time , no he can’t play 90 minutes twice a week , and no he isn’t the player of 5 years ago , but he should be on that pitch more than he is .
