Hopefully he's building up his match fitness and sharpness with the minutes he's had and he starts firing soon. That's what we all want, at the end of the day. He wasn't match fit or sharp when he came to the club. That's what we disagree about.
Great thread again RTB. Thanks. Another difficult game but we owe them one. Not bothered how we get them but 3points are all that matters. Here’s hoping. Looking forward to this one.
"Pritchard has a chance of being involved when Sunderland resume their League One programme at home to Gillingham on 2nd April."
Three points at Lincoln is more likely than Plymouth or Oxford so we have to win this game. After that draws at the other two, plus the amount of 'six-pointers', would be enough imo. The Rotherham game is now easier and, with the return of Broadhead, O'Nien, McGeady plus the likes of Clarke, Roberts and Defoe coming up to speed puts us in a good solid position. Neil has me convinced that he has the nerve to keep us winning ... ... this'll be another tense afternoon
Going to be tense alright. Family stuff from now till 14.00 then it's beers and stress time with Safc
Same here mate, it was touch and go ... .... woke up this morning, looked at the clock and considered it
Simply back-read our prior conversations and have an argument with yourself.... I can't be arsed with argumentative bellends toodle pip !
Alex Neil update: “I think the lads are in a good space at the moment, and are confident going into each match,” the Head Coach said. “I don’t think morale has ever necessarily been an issue – I just think that obviously when you’re not winning games, players and a club don’t feel great about themselves. But the lads look confident and we know the task at hand on Saturday. “Getting points on the board is paramount. We need to make sure we’re competitive and successful in terms of picking those points up – particularly with the limited number of games we have left.” “I can assure anyone that points are what is most crucial – if people aren’t happy with a performance, they’ll be a lot happier than if we haven’t picked the points up. “What I will say is that in the two home games of late – both of which we won – we could certainly have performed better, whilst in the two away games at Wigan and Charlton we performed really well. “In terms of level of performance it’s been a mixed bag, but what’s important is that recently, we’ve picked up the points that matter. In the process, we’ve kept clean sheets and still been scoring goals. I certainly think we’re moving in the right direction.”
