Those bolt cutters ffs They should have asked one of the Everton fans if they could borrow their Stanley knife.
They should've just kept playing because newcastle weren't going to threaten the goal. Then just leave him over night to freeze to death.
Chaos is correct. Fans have bee blinded by results but some of the performances have not been great. Injuries and a hectic schedule have not helped but that does not detract from the issues. Still think we can stay up. This break might help and hopefully some players might return. ASM needs to start. He is not the sort to have an immediate, off the bench, impact
The problem with ASM is that he has not progressed from being the one man team under Steve Bruce to 11 man team under C Eddie Howe
Have to say that before the Southampton game, I would have taken three points from those three away games,I think the way we played at Chelsea and the Southampton has gone to some supporters heads, lets just see how we go after the break
The good run we had was similar to the run we had under Bruce at the back end of last season, but this time people got carried away. Fans will always jump from one extreme to the other, but the reality is something inbtween. There's a reason we tend to finish 13th... Who was the last manager to finish below 13th?
He set them on this path with his archaic football. Lampard trying to turn it round, I have sympathy but I don't think he had the experience for such a task. As Eddie found with Bruce, its not a quick fix overnight when someone has a club playing 1990's/2000's football. The games changed a lot in the last 20-30 years. I'm just glad we have Eddie and his modern press. Every time I watch us I smile at all the Rafa suckers claiming that he wasn't stuck in the past.
Should have won last night. Terrible result against a poor side. Let ourselves down 2nd half, didn't seem fit enough to keep up the high press. Got lax too when the sending off came. Shame because I thought we dealt with them well first half and looked the more likely. Wasn't a sending off for me either but I suppose that isn't judging it under the modern rules and then it probably is. I think we've turned into a right set of fairies personally. I don't know why that bloke with the bolt cutters didn't just use his teeth. What a set of gnashers he had I thought that came at a bad time for us as they needed that break more than we did. Perhaps not looking at how we faded though. Fair play to the Everton fans, for not being given much to support they were excellent. Reminded me of ourselves to be honest. Young Gordon worked his socks off. They look to have a couple you wouldn't like to be in the trenches with. Ricarlison is a talent but he's not what you need in that situation. Nor is Doucoure. Complete lack of effort at times letting Joelinton and Bruno run off him. Overall we played ok and I'm not too disheartened. A couple were poor for the goal, I thought Dubs made it really easy, as did Schar. ASM lost it too easily too. On to the next one. Disappointing two defeats in a row in games we should have taken something from. What a run of form though. 9 games unbeaten, and then 2 games we should have won or taken a point from. Fair play to Eddie and the staff. I didn't think it possible.
Or he’s simply not fit yet after injury and illness. https://www.shieldsgazette.com/spor...-united-update-on-allan-saint-maximin-3616654 Not getting at you but too many people to quick to criticise.
good luck with this - hope he gets an extra game ban ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/60797968 Everton to appeal against Allan red card against Newcastle
He's been ****e all season bar a handful of games. I'd rather get someone in that tucks more boxes that's all. Joelinton wasn't given any rope, but here people are making excuses for a good dribbler.
Yes he has... People made excuses under Bruce saying he shouldn't be up top or here there and everywhere. He's just not been playing well and therefore he shouldn't start
