Ooops and good point about ‘radicalisation’…a word that only exists for Muslims travelling to defend Muslim lands
in respect of the headline on the video, I can't see the birth-mark next to the actors eye that's in the Ukrainian video.
Shhhh... not allowed to mention double standards. I say we take away their citizenship. Bet that asian guy's got dual nationality. Fck him off to Bangladesh. The white guy too.
Are they going to join and fight for a terrorist organisation that's an enemy to our country? If so, leave the ****s out there. We didn't prosecute folk that went to Syria to fight the bad guys so I assume and hope it's the same for them thats gone to Ukraine.
Agree and I'll go further mate and say it's about maintaining the rule of law and doing so consistently...wherever the chips may fall. When you brush it under the carpet because the people they're going to fight for happen to serve your interest, or you change it or scrap it because the person happens to be someone vulnerable but you don't like them, it completely undermines any argument you make. What's often overlooked is consistency in the rule of law is fundamentally part of what we like to think of as being a democracy.
Problem I've found is a lot of the time, people want to play politics with things. For me it's nowt about politics, it's about your own set of values and shouldn't be anymore than that.
imo the irony being that if you are clear and consistent in applying the rule of law then you'll bring more ppl together, reduce the division and therefore the whole playing politics. An example to highlight the point was bunging everyone in orange boiler suits, making up the term "illegal combatants" and saying the Geneva Convention didn't apply to them. All that does is cause division among ppl who generally agree in the rule of law. Imagine that was never done, instead they were captured, detained and put through the courts, nobody would've known any different to what was always done and the whole right/left bollox doesn't even come up.
Mate neither the young guy or the old guy would last five minutes I think someone had already said, they didn't want people unless they had at the very minimum some combat experience - now that would lead into your point, but them two guys, ones an old duffer and the other would worry about getting mud on his jacket.
Btw I've got to read this book... please log in to view this image I was on the motorway today and listened on the radio to an author of a similar book going into detail about it all and how the City of London is wholly complicit. Really deep stuff.
I think a lot of what was going on was being kept considerably quiet by the Americans, reason being they knew some people in Europe wouldn't agree with it. Much as the strongholds (cells) that were revealed on the falling of Afghanistan. Logic should tell us, well what do you think happens with prisoners, but we tend to not think about it unless they are being displayed on TV. I remember with Begum, I used my own values to say she was groomed, but somehow because she was Brown and a Muslim, that can't happen, despite her quite clearly being used for sex. Instead she was branded a terrorist. That's a bit like the pope telling young boys it's all in the aid of religion, so now go take your place in the choir.
I'd heard of that one already, but I've found the author I listened to and his book is this... please log in to view this image What I found really interesting was the dodgy government contracts that are handed out for free and then sold on for sums which in some countries amount to twice their whole health budget. He was explaining how it holds certain developing countries back who really should be doing really well with their natural resources. That was just ONE of the points he raised. The rest was eye opening as well.
I don't read any books, I just leave it to all the know it alls on here, normally Labour voters, who haven't worked out yet why they rarely come to power. I think they've only had Harold Wilson and Tony Blair in my lifetime, and the latter was a mass murderer. Trouble is when Labour come to power, they normally fook it up so big time, it's remembered by voters for decades. Even the old witch Thatcher is still laughing her head off from beyond her grave, at their sheer incompetency of Labours ability to come to power.
Tbf Kleptopia is far too mainstream for someone like Aber. It wouldn't have been enough to say it as it is, he'd need a book to tell us all how Jews and baby-eating Bill Gates was behind it all.
