Agreed: we do have some players to come back soon so that’s good. When the red happened we just needed to manage that better. Max lost it but I don’t actually blame him. When Ewobi scored we had 3/4 players close to him. Poor performance second half:
I tell you what though its amazing how easy this game was going to be before kick off and now all the nufc players are useless.? I just think we've played a side on our level and came up short on the night.
First half our pressing and tackling was superb, we were on it. 2nd half started and you have to give it 5 minutes to get a grip and silence the crowd. That Spaz with the worlds ****test ever suicide attempt, took the sting out the tails for whatever reason. Game became even scrappier and the ref was shockingly bad for both teams. The crowd had been silenced the worry factor came in, and the Red card energised their crowd. Think from that point the ref felt he possibly needed to level things up. We got **** all else from that point and they got everything. One of them things, **** off to Dubai, get some sun into Wilson and Trippier and hope for a surprise in a couple of weeks.
We could have played another ninety minutes tonight and we still wouldn't have scored. Nothing dropped for us in their box all night. As for Everton, they were awful, particularly in the first half. They'll be ecstatic at winning a game, typical that it had to be us that they finally won a game against. I hope that snarling little **** that got sent off gets a substantial ban the little ****head.
I’m going to try and reason with you. I said I wouldn’t but let me be clear. My comment about max was tongue in cheek. But he puts us under so much pressure from losing the ball. But my gripe tonight is purely Wood. He’s ****ing crap. Burn has dropped some changers last two games but also defended well. So I don’t blame anyone for the result other than we don’t ever seem like a striker scoring. So is that because Wood is terrible, Or because we don’t play to his strengths? I would like your answer on that question.
You do realise he came on fresh to play against a 96 year old Seamus Coleman, bevvied up on Guiness who'd played an hour already?
Oh I agree mate, he played well. I mean if two mackem inbreds we’re to get up the duff, it would look like Anthony Gordon.
I'll say it Max is ****e get rid He's got a lot 5 goals and 3 assists. I don't rate players on just dribbling I think he's a dross player
I think we have ran out of gas a bit, lots of games and lots of injuries, we need this break. We'll stay up, just a bit frustrating for tonight.
Yes but what I'm saying is 1) Everton are defending for the lives, they need the win more than us 2) It's not ASM's fault we couldn't score while we were dominant for the first 45 minutes 3) You can't expect him to save us constantly. He's already done it many times, it's not his job to rescue us when the rest of our team can't score for ****! He's in bad form, he's not ****.
If Everton win there 2 games in hand on us, they’ll be on the same points. By the way, which players are actually meant to be coming back after the break? Wilson & Trippier won’t be back till practically the end of the season. I can only think of Shelvey.
Thought Dubs tried to make the simple things look spectacular too many times. Have no doubt that was his thinking on the positioning for their goal. Though Schar was solid. Thought Kraft had a worldie (in the world of Kraft) Though Targett was a bit meh tonight. Thought Bruno was quality first half, quieter second half, same with willock and Joelinton. Miguel Gump went missing after his 3rd flop on the deck wasn't awarded with a free kick. Fraser was decent again, just not as effective as previous games. Wood was gash.
