I fear Wood is just a clogger. He wins some balls but better players have had significantly more stick over the years. We might just struggle with him up top. He had a couple of chances to test the keeper and the tepid headers where straight at their keeper. I can’t explain this result but some players are not good enough.
Overall poor, scrappy performance. We had better possession 1st half without creating much. Then we sat too deep 2nd half and encouraged them on. They only looked dangerous when DCL came on. We had luck of the referring decisions tonight, but just weren't good enough. Not going ping to single anyone out as very few had a decent game. Just one of those nights. But it makes the final games so much more tense now. And gives Everton hope.

Its the tepid headers, every single header he does is like someone's chucked a wet sponge off him. His positional play is ****ing shocking, we whip balls in across the 6 yard box and he's never ever there. Yes he wins balls in the air but they never go anywhere, they never create anything meaningful. Dubravka was ****e tonight n all, his decision making has gone to ****ing pot like. If tats the case I can see the point about not scoring but if about Max which is who I thought he was referring to then unfair on Max.
