Very pleased to see that upgraded to a red. Shocking challenge.

I'm always an advocate of those cynical challenges being red.

If the orange card existed, it would have been orange. But it was closer to a red than a yellow.

Yep, out of control, off the ground, studs showing.

Yes it was cynical but that was dangerous. Allan was out of control and was lucky he didn't make much contact with Saint-Maximin.

Ray Charles’ Son coming off. There goes any goal threat. Everton are such a mess.

I think there's an argument for those sorts of fouls to be a red card but as it stands there's no way that's a clear and obvious error in my opinion.

I feel a good way to judge is how upset the opposite team would have been had it not been given and I doubt it would have even got a mention tbh.

When did they stop doing the real time only thing btw? Bulk of ref saw there was slow mo / freezeframes.

Oh I'm with you that VAR shouldn't have overturned it. Wasn't a bad onfield decision, should have stayed with the yellow he gave.

But generally speaking, the laws need to tighten up so that cynical fouls are red as standard.
