Definitely we always do it's a guarantee when push comes to shove. Everton on the other hand are that side that always gets the result when they most need it.
I still think they'll stay up tbh even if they don't win tonight. I think tonight the atmosphere will be much like it was vs Leeds and whether Newcastle fold like they did early on will be key.
This alone makes them deserve relegation. Was hoping they stayed up cos of Frank, but I think I have changed my mind.
Keegan scored a cracker in that replay. You used to be our bogey team until that game, according to my dad. Smashed Newcastle in the final, and we were the form team going into the 74/75 season - and Shanks suddenly retired.
Not this season - there are at least three teams ****er than them. But next season - they're horrendously over-budget, and Morishi won't have Uzzy's money on tap. There'll be a firesale of talent, is the fear of most of my BS friends and family. Then there's Bramley Dock...
Aye, cant see past the current bottom three at the moment, Watford, Burnley and Norwich have been ****ing woeful. Leeds and Everton will be in deep trouble next year though if they dont get their **** together.
I was at Upton Park to witness a 4-0 in by us with Tosh getting a hat trick and Keegan the 4th . The added bonus was as i was sitting in with the WHam fans i actually saw the goals which was a pretty rare occurrence unless i was sitting in front of the terraces . Oh and i literally bumped into John Lyall which was "interesting" Was one of my most vivid matchday memories simply because it was a slightly surreal day .
