....and the silence is deafening whilst the tumbleweed blows. <laugh>

The lesson seems to be do your research if you're going to have a pop. Isn't that what this lot used to say to Breezy when he was wumming them on their debts? Not that I ever did that. :)

Firstly, obviously unlike yourself I have a life away from my computer and don't sit in front of it waiting for replies, secondly, do you actually ever have any intelligent remarks of your own or do you always hang on to the clever people's coat tails.

What's up with you? Ladyboy given you herpes or something?

This thread concerns my Club so I'm entitled to point out that Jager has correctly stated the financial position of the Stadium and that the OP's original post isn't worth a ****. Just like you, my eastern friend.

    Intelligent enough for you, Sussex?

Kind of response we expect from you. Never an original idea pops in that tiny little brain. The OPs original opinion contains sources...something you never seem to do....figures out of the air. Jager gave a good response to a good discussion. As usual you decide to ruin it. We expect that of you. Now go and cry about how JH is so mean to you and you are such a valued poster....moron.

Oh don't be silly. How did I 'ruin it' by simply saying that Jager was dead right and that the OP was very very wrong? So much for the 'sources', right? Do you expect me to say the opposite? Get real. This is what happens when idiots put up stuff in an attempt to criticise my Club without researching the facts first. Maybe it was done to take the Cardiff posters' minds off the fact that you're not doing so well this season, I don't know.

Next time watch out for the adam's apple. It's a dead giveaway so I'm told. <laugh>

I did read the article, and the swans have used a "legal loophole" to avoid paying what they owe...............illegal probably not; immoral definitely, just about any club would do it if they could, the difference being we don't get plagued with fans of other clubs, coming on here boasting about what a "wonderful well run club" they are and how badly run CCFC is, Swansea are at it and dodging paying what they owe..............not nice but fair enough if you can get away with it, but coming on here with your "holier than thou" attitude and boasting about being a family friendly club that is the centre of the community, is hypocritical to say the least. swansea are a business like any other league club and taking the moral high ground is ridiculous, you are ripping off the community that you are so "proud" to represent.

Well taking the attitude that it's not scfc that owe the money but the management company is ridiculous, taking money from your right hand pocket and putting into your left hand pocket doesn't mean you have paid your dues, and if you believe that it does, well it's you that is making a dick of yourself.

The giveaway is in the first line - "The Liberty Stadium in Swansea is continuing to make losses".

    I trust you understand that.

Who owns the stadium? Who is the principal partner in the management company?

Aber you still don't get it mate , the tax payer is not picking up any bill as the clubs are doing that, also the clubs have upped their funds for upkeep of the stadium.

There is a misconception that the clubs are playing at the stadium for free, which is not true at all, the accounts of the management company show a turnover of £2m+ each year, how do they get to that figure if the clubs were not paying anything ?

And by the way your club was offered a lifeline as well, that is why your stadium sits on council land, without it you would still be in onion park

I'm sure I read (Cardiff boys, any info?) that they gave you the land for the stadium on the proviso you built a sports centre to be used by the public too... but the council then had to pay for the sports centre when it wasn't being built/completed... I forget. Anyone know anything about that? I honestly don't know if it's true, so I'm looking for someone to shed some light on it.

That is a commercial secret that the council will not reveal, I have asked for the info from a freedom of information request and it was turned down. Also the clubs and management company are under no obligation to reveal what they are paying or paid.

Personally, I take no interest in who pays what to who and by when. I've enough trouble staying on top of my own finances to worry myself over 2 football clubs :)
I've been to both and (with the exception, I'm sure, of a few occasions) IMO, both the Liberty and CCS are generic, soulless places. Give me the atmosphere of The Vetch and Ninian Park any day of the week...but I guess that's what they call progress. <ok>
