Left us zero options bringing on 2 slow average midfielders, for 2 midfielders that had helped control the game bar one worldy
For 80 minutes we were in the game, they just upped their game last 10 minutes........ Spence best player on pitch, unfortunately Wallace couldn't contain him....... Not sure why both Hendrick and Johansen came on, would have left Amos on with one of them as we lacked legs last half hour....... Sky obviously happy with the result....... I'm just concerned at the amount of injuries we have....
Our double substitution handed the initiative to Forest as we couldn't match their energy. We'll do well to stay in contention with tough matches to come...
Except that, apart from working hard, Amos did nothing on the ball and Dozzell was one more foul from a red card. Maybe we shouldn't have replaced both, but I understand the substitution of Dozzell. We lost away to a very good side with a really strong squad. We played well at times and really should have been 2 up at half-time, because Amos missed an absolute sitter. Worse miss of the season imo.
This could be a pivotal game. We played better first half than we have for some time. Dreadful second half.
I thought we had a good first half. Didn't do much wrong at all. Looked fairly comfortable everywhere. I thought we also picked a positive starting 11. Second half, we seemed to only want to hold that 1-0 lead and do nothing else. All of the effective passing in the final third completely ceased. This has to have been Warburton tactics. What can I say? I honestly think we need a better manager, but Warburton has still done well to get us where we are. We just need a better tactician in order to progress further. Warburton would be as helpless as a newborn baby if we managed to slip into the EPL.
Didn't expect much at all but then we go and show flashes of being decent, the hopes go up and come crashing down again, forest a good team but they did hoover up every jobbing championship player within 200 miles, we on the other hand have Wallace in goal
I couldn’t understand the double substitution. If we leaked a goal we didn’t have a striker to bring on or anybody with an injury.
A more attacking midfield and Willock was playing off Gray in a two up top. Chair deserved to be dropped and apart from that one brilliant assist, flattered to deceive as usual.
Agreed, Warburton ****ed up bringing them borh on and then later leaving us with no substitute options.
Ok but I disagree. Both players seem to lift there game when played together behind the striker. It’s what got us into the play off positions. Now we seem to be trying to keep it tight and snatch games.
So.....lots of others on here have said the same thing about the commentators and Gabbidon in particular, yet...... Surprise surprise, you make a personal dig at me. Have a day off you sad little man.
