Ok lets see some forecast from you FFC pundits on this weekends game.
    Score ~ scorers.
I fell that Wigan need the win more than us,so I am going for 2:1 Wigan
    Dempsey our scorer.

We are under the cosh 10 minutes to go Jol then decides to bring on subs
(much to late ). "Analysis" post match at the cottage,s..t hits the fan Jol goes.

Hope I am so wrong, I always have been in the past. <badger <badger><badger>

I also can see wigan edging it unfortunately. Our away performances so far have been so bad that to predict otherwise would be somewhat naive. I'd like to see kasami and ruiz get a bit more game time though, they've shown glimpses recently to suggest they're the type of player to get us out of the rut were in. I would also start briggs as his pace away from home could be utilised to full effect.

This is Head versus Heart fixture.

My Head says a Wigan win by 2-1 (Hangeland)
because we don't have a good history away to Wigan,
    even in the lower leagues.

My Heart says Fulham 2-1 (Zamora, Johnson)
Wigan are a team we need to put pressure on to keep them in the relegation zone.
And because we need the points to get some fans off the back of Martin Jol,
so he can be given more time. (if you look at our home games next year most of them should be winnable ).

Good point about our track record away at Wigan, Super Bri. Despite that I'm expecting a morale-boosting win by a clear couple of goals. 2-0 or 3-1. I agree that we need to add pace to the attacking quartet. I'd like Ruiz to start, possibly in place of AJ or Dembele. I'd like to see him given a more forward role than when he replaced Murphy on Sunday.

Big game for the club. Wigan have conceded 17 goals in the league this season in 9 games. If ever there was chance to get in between the midfield and defence this is the game. We need our front 4 to start delivering some goals, not sure who will be the front 4 but they have to start doing their job. If Mccarthy is back for them then Murph's is going to have to run his bits off.

Big game for Demps and Ruiz - Wigan 0 - Fulham 2

Yup, we haven't won in the last 11 trips to Wigan. On Ruiz, Jol has gone on record to emphise that he (Ruiz) is not a striker. Jol said -

"Bryan is a midfield player who can play wide." " He is not a striker and it is a bit annoying that people over here think that he's a striker.

"In Holland you have man-marking whereas in England they play in the zone and take you from all sides. He didn't realise that and I saw that in the first few touches of his first game. He's an intelligent, international player - I know that he can cope in this League.

"In Holland he scored more goals than any other midfield player and if you ask people in Holland they can't believe he's not playing all the time, but they've never played in the Premier League."

Personally I'd again leave him till the second half. The starting line up? At the back Hughes is out, Senderos is very doubtful and Riise doesn't look fit. So, Grygera, Baird, Hangeland, Briggs.

The midfield has been a problem and needs to play higher, with more urgency - Kasami, Sidwell, Murphy and Duff. Up front, Sa is injured; AJ has had his day. Therefore, Dempsey behind Bobby.

As for a prediction? Mmm ... after my ball gazing at Stoke, maybe not.

But "WE ARE FULHAM" - by the way, where is the banner? Without we're jinxed!

My heart says a win 2-1 with Ruiz and Zamora scoring... but reality is a draw 1-1 or 2-2 something like that.

I'm optimistic for this one. I'll go for a 2-1 win with Dempsey and Murphy scoring. But this season has thrown up some crazy results so it will probably finish 5-3 or something.

I'll take 0-2, 1-3 or indeed a 3-5 win, since we need a turnaround point in the season (which might just make up for the negative turnaround of the Zamora miss last Saturday).
However reality may suggest says a low score draw.

How Fulham play today will tell you something about the character of the team and whether Martin Jol has control of the players. If we see another lack-luster, uninterested performance, we'll know the team is in disarray and that Martin Jol's lost the dressing room. But if the team comes out and works its socks off for some kind of result - even if we don't win, we'll know there's some fight and unity left in this group.

Yanks like me call this a gut check.

One hell of a prediction, perfect result and one goal scorer. Had you taken that down the bookies frogman and you could have been in the money!

    It was a joke, Gillyffc.

These boards have gotten a bit aggressive over the past few weeks, and I am not a fan of that. :(
