**** off Kane the audacity to want to take the FK at the end he’s ****in dogshit at them…Dier is actually better
because they’re not seeing the space to release the ball because there isn’t any need to be smarter but to me we seem a step too slow mentally in order play the early pass
Spurs poor, Brighton even poorer. Gifted 2 good opportunities by the Brighton defence but we have been so wasteful. Our front three just aren't at it today, especially Sonny, don't know what's up with him his confidence is shot. PEH and Bentacur sloppy in possession at times and our wingbacks playing it safe too many times. Brighton are there for the taking, Conte needs to rattle some heads at HT.
I'm pretty sure that Lloris is better at them. We've plenty of evidence that Kane is **** at them. Never seen Lloris take one.
But this is what I don't get, as we were making space in most of our previous games Obviously some of this can be placed on not having Skipp available, as he's our only CM who creates space by taking on his man while the rest tend to rely on making safe passes if there's no space, yet we were creating space against Southampton, Leeds, Everton and The Sheikh Mansour Team with pairings involving Bentancur, Hojbjerg or Winks I'm wondering if this is a tactical tweak to retain possession, which was also something Poch had us doing for a spell in the 2017-18 season season, and we're seeing similar issues because we may be holding onto the ball more but it's also made us toothless
Generally just need to speed everything up in the second half. One assumes Brighton will come out a bit which should give us some space but we need to move the ball more quickly when we have it too, and not just rely on the counter. Keep it tight at the back, no silly could from those already on yellows, and pick up the intensity please.
The goal: https://streamgg.com/v/77v9sna4 Right-sided centre-back in the centre of the box and heading left. Fair enough.
Excellent counterattacking goal there. Good carry and lovely pass from Bentancur and Kane makes no mistake with this one, even going wide on his left foot.
