I believe we need to think about bringing in a new partner for Suarez in Jan, but I also think we should play Carrol more consistantly to at least give him a chance to regain his form. I don't think we should give up on Carrol but i also don't think he's the right kind of player for every side we face. Regardless of Carrols form i would like to see a new striker in Jan, I think a young player with lots of pace, good positioning and most importantly a clinical finisher would make the perfect partner for Suarez. Who do you think we should buy?

Would you take an Alvara Negredo? Soldado from valencia? Both technically good, can create on their own but can hold the ball up well. If we are looking the Spanish route of course.

Think there is an u-20 lad out there that is meant to be pretty sharp. I thought Cavani is kind of taking that helm as well? Check out some of the Brazilians as well, there is a big lad for Flamengo I believe Dede or Dudu something like that and his stock is growing. How about an American...................................
Negrado looks a quality plater, or Llorente for Suarez to play off Podolski is a good shout, I don't know how old he is now but for Germany he's been great but hasn't really cut it at club level, He'd be quite cheap now and is worth a gamble.. IF we did get some one in January I can't see it being a big name, maybe a top scorer from the Championship or some one like Darren Bent
Want to say Podolski is 27 or there abouts? We had a bid of about 30 mil turned down for Llorente so not yet I don't think. For me, personally, I would have Eto'o ( fantasy I know). I think Eto'o is one of if not the best striker in the world and him and Suarez would dominate. Real World, a poacher I think is what everyone wants, but not sure who that type of player is and if they are available.

Maybe some one like Odemwinge or Dos Santos for Wigan.. They're last choice though, Kinda like Carlton Cole a few years back. I wouldn't rule out a shock bid for a top striker, we did the same for Suarez when we was about 10th in the table! Eto'o would be an amazing signing.. Wages would be a killer though
Eto'o was interested I think in 09 but then we went kaput. Lucas barrios would be a really good shout from Dortmund I think as well.
