1-0. Kulusevski. Big deflection off Dunk, I think.

Kulu scores with a deflected shot from the edge of the box, demonstrating admirably the merits of just having a ****ing pop sometimes.

Hopefully that spices the game up a bit, both giving us some zip, and because Brighton will have to play now.

Romero's been doing that a lot lately

He was in Burnley's penalty area more than Harry Kane, for example

I've seen posters on r/coys turning on Romero in this match

Does that count as a cosmic RCL?

Kulusevski's got to put that away. Kane looks desperate to avoid passing to Son.
    Reguilon booked. Silly.

They look to have worked out some of our passing patterns, especially when we try and play out from the back, so a bit of variety wouldn’t go amiss. Doesn’t help that a lot of players don’t seem to be able to move the ball with any zip.

Veltman booked. Dived in on Kane. Not sure there was a lot of contact.

Does Kane knock them in all the time in training or something? Baffling why he always pulls rank on freekicks

1-0 HT. Slow, sluggish, ****e. Shockingly sloppy Seagulls slipping. Son? Subbed soon, surely?

I think the biggest issue, both this evening and on Saturday, is we've been oddly hesitant at playing the final ball once we're in the final third

Look at Kane this evening for an obvious example, he's holding onto the ball a second longer before releasing it than he was even a couple of weeks ago
