The Last Kingdom season 5 - 9/10. Overall a 9 for the whole 5 seasons too. Brilliant series, gutted it’s over.

Truth be told I'm streaming it through questionable means but I know it's an MTV gig. I usually don't have time or patience to commit to series and in the past year or so have only got through Chernobyl and Dopesick - both of which were superb. But a friend recommended 1883 and I've been hooked since the opening scene. It's a slow burner so don't bother unless you're a fan of brilliant writing and the history of the era. Never knew it was a prequel to Yellowstone but I tried an episode of that the other day and barely made it 20mins in. Not my brew.
Got to the 2nd film with De Niro as Vito and started googling who was the younger versions of who from the first one. Clemenza, Tessio and Tomasino in case anyone's wondering.
The Godfather trilogy is pure quality... and never forget that Johnny Fontaine is really Frank Sinatra ... or you might just get to sleep with the fishes
Supposed to reflect Sinatra getting the role in From Here To Eternity when his career was struggling a bit due to falling out with at least one prominent Hollywood director ...
Don't ignore this post, well worth watching and I'd recommend not reading what it's about and just watching. It's on Disney.
