It's bonkers that I am in joint second. I predict a 3-0 win every time with Kane, Son and an unlikely third goal scorer. I've always thought I could only win this if we won the PL with Kane and Son scoring 20 plus goals each!
Brighton & Hove Albion 2-3 Tottenham Hotspur. Dunk and Maupay for them, Kane, Son and Kulusevski for us.
The original song I’ve hit upon to express my thoughts in anticipation of this midweek banana-skin-left-behind-after-the-Lord-Mayor’s-Show encounter has been recorded since it first saw the light of day (in the film Lili, in 1952!!) by so many people (ranging from the Everly Brothers to Manfred Mann, Dinah Shore to Gene Vincent, and Perry Como to Tim Buckley) that it’s quite surprising it hasn’t completely worn out! Anyway, here's the pick-me-up we probably all need right now, sung by Alan Price (not quite as scripted, but quite fun!) Seagulls, here we come! Hi-Lili-Hi-Lo On many a seat there sits a fan, singing a song of Spurs - But every fan says not a word, and ev'ry one I ever heard Could break my heart without a word, singing a song of Spurs A song of Spurs is a sad song, (it’s silly, it’s silly, I know!) A song of Spurs is a song of woe, don't ask me why it’s so. A song of Spurs is a sad song, for I’m a fan and I know! Tomorrow at Brighton we’ll feel the pain (one win then one loss, that’s high/low!) (But) Tomorrow we’ll probably win again (it’s silly, it’s silly, I know!)! A goal for Son, a goal for Kane, and two for Kulu makes four A cheer from them and a cheer from me, and one for Conte let there be No points for the Arsenal in Scouse country, and then I shall weep no more! A song of Spurs is a mad song, (one win then one loss so high/low!) A song of Spurs is a song of woe – yes! I’m a fan and I know! A song of Spurs is my fan song, for sev’nty years or so! I sit in the Paxton and cheer for Kane (it’s silly, it’s silly, I know!) Tomorrow we’ll probably win again, (it’s silly, it’s silly, I know!) Prediction: Brighton 0 Spurs 4 Scorers: Kulu 2, Kane, Son Cheers, Spurf! Keep smiling!
@Spurf You seem to have missed my 5 points from the last game.( No wonder I am not having a good season )
