    are you saying that the low conviction rates are due to police numbers and not the rape laws as you previously claimed?

    The laws are part of the problem, the lack of police to apply those outdated laws makes it worse.

    Cutting police, was an unbelievably stupid thing to do, as I'm sure you are well aware by now.

    explain what the problem is with the laws
    I agree we should have more police and tougher sentences
    I dont agree the police should be dancing in the streets and stupid things like that

    We agree on that, I think lie detectors should be allowed in this country. They are very accurate and if men knew that they could be found out, they would think about their actions a lot more.

    My friend got raped by her boyfriend and it's affecting her still now. He forced himself on her violently, she tried to fight him off but couldn't.

    If a polygraph test for both of them, could prove that he was lying and she was telling the truth, I think that would be very strong evidence to at least start proceedings, if not a conviction.

    that's nothing to do with rape laws
    polygraph tests are not allowed in court for any offences

    There is a reason why lie detectors are inadmissible in US courts you ****ing spastic. They are completely ****ing unreliable and useless.

    And what would you do about those women that perjure themselves in court and cry rape when it quite patently wasn't? They should be jailed just like a male rapist should be jailed.

    My idea is to change the laws, so that polygraphs are allowed.

    If criminals knew they'd get done for failing the tests or refusing to take it, crime could drop by a lot.

    I'm quite strict you know, when it comes to crime.

    I don't think lie detector tests are "very accurate" although I am sure they are better than they were 20 years ago or whatever.

    You should watch "Jeremy Kyle Show: "Death on Daytime"
    People took lie detector tests and the result was that they were lying.
    They arranged another test with the same questions and answers and the result was they were telling the truth.
