Off Topic Non-Sunderland games

Anyone know if the Rotherham game is likely to be postponed. International weekend. Wouldnt mind having that in the last week of the season when they are on the beach, rather than when they are still hunting wins.

 

Our games against Plymouth and Oxford will be crackers ...

... I think we'll keep our nerve and beat them both.

 

Just been looking at the remaining fixtures and Plymouth have a really hard run in.
We just have to win as many as possible and Saturday won't be easy at Lincoln. Hopefully we put in a performance like we did at Wigan.

 

There are loads of games like Wycombe v Sheff Wed where they can all beat the snot out of each other.

Games are going to the wire this year. Going to be very tight to make the play offs

 

In view of the recent arrival of Neil, and the players like Pritchard to come back, having a break to circle the wagons wouldn't be a bad thing imo.

As people have suggested the adrenalin may have gone from Rotherham's players by the time we play them.

A win at Lincoln is vital to set the players up for two weeks of training and recuperation before a home game we should win.

Things could be looking better, especially as there are lots of 'six pointers' left to play.

In hindsight not having the break when we had covid probably cost us.

I was one who was happy with the club doing ot at the time aswell.

 

Agreed. Rotherham will have promotion sealed by the time a rescheduled game was played…

 

I am with you on that mate. In hindsight was a major error. Teams like wigan seemed to benefit from what was essentially a mid-season break.

 

Aye I was proud of thr club for not using it as an excuse to get a break and trying to keep some momentum going, but everyone said at the time I bet we change our minds if we drop points. It was the start of the ****e run, it was worse than we imagined!

We recalled lads from loan to make up the numbers, every other team has thought fine we will have a break get the j Jared players back. Or see them twats up the road taken the opportunity to get some signings in with their new found fortune!

I still think it was like the Wild West with teams doing what the **** they wanted jn regards to this. Easily manipulated and is it a coincidence that most clubs who got a few injuries suddenly got covid?

 

All sorts went on mate with some clubs. Whether we were naieve or arrogant I dont know. It cost us though for sure.
