Blimey - I didn't expect them to have a better record than ourselves. I was thinking that this is a game we might actually WIN!!! They had a good draw against Fulham on Saturday too which they might have won - could be a banana skin..........
They are fighting for survival whereas we are safe, hopefully the pressure will get to them , whereas we’ll be able to be play without fear, if know I’m an eternal optimist, but that’s what I’m hoping.
Barnsley have from summer and along the way added a few to the squad last 8 games only lost 3 against City's 5 points "formwise" pretty close .. it will not be easy draw best result
I'll be very surprised if we get anything tonight. Thought we were very to lucky to beat them earlier this season.
wonder if huddersfield can make it 18 without defeat! longest sequence in champs at mo ..blackpool 3 W 's only team on winning seq:
Nothing positive there then RP!! .. Surely we should be beating teams 18 points behind and 3rd from bottom? ....Let's hope NP gets his selection and tactics right and achieve the same result as we did last Saturday.. If not, then we should expect a decent performance at the very least..
only if we score first 3 goals .... look forward to marking compo as a victory changed mine from 2-2 to 2-3
Probably more that Barnsley were really unlucky to lose at AG. Also think we were lucky at Blackburn and I'm thinking we can't be lucky twice in a week.
Great start City and did we take any defenders up north with us? Shocking by just looking at the ball and making no effort to tackle Barnsley.
Why have we become so bad defensively this season? Some of the goals we have conceded are an embarrassment, our defensive coaches should hang their heads in shame.
He also thinks all Pearson’s signings have been good, and we’re playing well, yet here we are 2-0 down to a poor team What was that name some on here gave to a previous manager who was inconsistent? I’d take a “streaky” top 10 finish like we used to have!!
