Eddie Howe refuses to answer a question on how he feels about the 81 executions in Saudi Arabia yesterday and the Saudi flags in the away end. Says he's still disappointed by the defeat and wants to stick to football. Can't say I am surprised he wants to stay away from that.
Quite - if he wants to keep his job ! Doesn’t really strike me as the of sort of manager to start talking about non football issues really .
This one could run and run as well. Eddie Howe was recruited to manage a football club. Why should he have to talk about matters about which he has zero influence, and probably zero knowledge ? Simply, where does one ( anyone) draw the line ? Who checks that the fuel they put in their car has only come from 'good' countries ? If anyone at all is going to be asked about the ownership of football clubs, then is it the EPL, the FA , and , possibly, the dept. of Culture , Media and Sport.
A lot of rumours floating round sports media teams that one of the likeliest earliest & biggest bids for Chelsea is going to make the govt & Premier League extremely uncomfortable. Bas strikes again?
The problem is the only ones who would be acceptable and rich enough are Americans, but the more the Americans own the Premier League the more likely that it would be a closed shop and form a super league to make more money
Yes but he is a UK citizen apparently so avoids any sanctions. https://www.dorset.live/sport/footb...m-demins-bournemouth-future-scott-6749104.amp
