Yes would be a genuine contender if getting into the handicap

Sir Gerhard going Ballmore. Townend rides Dysart Dynamo in the supreme.

Cor blimey how much has the NH Chase cut up?!? It's only got 7 runners!!! The last 3 runnings have had 12-14-18-16.

And not one single English trained runner!!!

I suppose these Irish horses will run well but I still can’t see past Constitution Hill in the Supreme

I'm glad yours got in. I haven't backed anything yet but will be on Dr T J Eckleburg if he gets a run.

Must confess, team, that I'm struggling to like any of the 'headgear horses' in the Ultima tomorrow. But am I missing something???

Don't forget, as I've said before, 9 out of the last 10 winners of the contest wore some form of headgear.

Another first reserve is the 11th richest man in Wales' hotpot in the Coral Cup.

Surely you'd be with Tea Clipper if you liked that sort of "stat"?

Did consider him but has looked a shadow of the horse, who made such an eyecatching debut, on his last 2 starts. Maybe wind surgery will have transformed him???

Has 'Festival form' (3rd in last terms Martin Pipe) and do like the stable of Tom 'Fast Pacey' Lacey but that mark of 145 is hardly on the generous side either, methinks.

Frodon's participation makes this an odd race this time around. Top heavy and all that - as many as 6 (including reserve) run from out the handicap.

I am a big Frodon fan, after all he has the best jockey from the Nicholls yard riding him, but this would take a repeat of his Ryanair efforts to win off that mark. It makes it fascinating and it is a good job that it is.

Tea Clipper is one that you can see the angles for and if he runs to that Chepstow effort then he looks well handicapped. However he has either been plotted or has gone off the rails. I would guess the latter.

Have to agree ref Frodon - he'll love the ground and if he gets a soft lead he can be very dangerous.

Tea Clipper being very well supported in the market right now and both Paddy Power and Skybet have halved him in price from an opening, earlier today, price of 20/1. Best priced, right now, at 12/1 - 2nd fave.

That's mad isn't it. Some trainers wouldn't even train 64 horses during their lifetime.

Could have taken a bigger price on the day and ended up among the easiest winners we have seen so far. Absoulte monster of a horse.
