I’ve now got to a point where I believe that the West should take direct action. Putin has been allowed to get away with so much already that he couldn’t give a ****, so take him on directly. It is then his decision to go nuclear; he either will or won’t. If it doesn’t stop now, it never will!! I’ve always said that I want to see my first (step) grand daughter’s 21st birthday in 2035. If I make it, I’ll be 80; I sincerely hope we’re all around to see that April day.
I think if NATO did get involved, he would have no hesitation to push the button. We should help the people of Ukraine to be safe but should not get involved with anything else within.. the dispute between the two countries has been going on long before this invasion. Unfortunately there will be no happy ending to any of this if Ukraine are intent on becoming part of NATO, I can’t see it happening..

On the serious side I just want to wipe the grin off Putin's face but I can't understand why the younger Russian, who have just lost major parts of their lives with the access to outside news which is censored suddenly, aren't getting some clues as to where their leader is taking them. I know there are many who left the stifling regime of this man who know exactly what is going on but getting that info back to Moscow and beyond in a credible enough way for the rest of the populace to get the message is proving difficult. Having watched the antics of the Russian Foreign Minister at the U.N. a couple of days ago makes me wonder why someone didn't grab him by the scruff of the neck and remove him from the building along with his Chinese counterpart. How amazing is it that all of the false claims made by Russia about some of the supposed dreadful deeds inflicted by both the Ukrainians and Americans are always a portent to their deeds of the next chapter in this brutal conflict? The tactics of Russia, nay Putin, have been the same in every theatre of operation in which they have waged war over the last decade or so and it's about time he was taught a lesson that will rid the world of this scumbag.
His (Putins) downfall will happen when all the bodies of sons/husbands/brothers turn up and all the captured Russian soldiers go back home and expose what it was REALLY like. He won’t be able to keep a lid on it then.

It wouldn't surprise me if Putin didn't put out a notice that all dead bodies should be left to rot in the fields in order to lie about the casualties. What sort of perverted fantasy land does Putin live in when he can't see that when thousands of young soldiers bodies arrive back home nobody will be able to believe it was all down to Ukrainian aggression rather than a load of lies from the government? Why have all the services we were getting just over 3 weeks ago suddenly disappeared off the planet not forgetting all of the TV/Radio stations that have been shut down for not paying their dues? How long will it be before a stray something or other crosses both a border and a red line in the sand causing a potential head on confrontation? The sane world is awaiting a response and we all know that diplomacy is not in the play book but bloodshed and mayhem will continue ad nauseum until someone reacts in a meaningful manner.
Tragic. The whole sorry episode is a tragedy - a clusterfuck of monolithic proportion. I bet most of those Russian lads didn’t want to fight. It’s a war that a sizeable number of them don’t believe in.
If they didn’t want to they would not aim to kill innocents. Don’t get fooled into live or death they know why they’re there.
Absolutely these soldiers should turn there guns on Putin and his cronies. As said this was the beginning of world war 3 unless Russia people take him out.
The videos of captured Russians show young men claiming that they thought they were on exercise. Absolutely some know exactly what they are doing otherwise the bombing and shelling would not happen, but some are just frightened conscripts sent in as Putins cannon fodder - probably to make the Ukrainians run out of bullets.
I do not have have radio station active at the present... I need to hang out an antenna to use my IC 7000 MODIFIED from 100 Hz to 2.4 Ghz but only got one working arm!! The conscripts have been giving themselves up ... almost 900 in total. The reason for 3 major generals being killed and and numerous lieutenants etc etc is the trrops wont "be sent" they are needing to be led. Taking bodies back to Russia ... that will be in months or longer if ever ... they cant afford to at present. Ukraine where possible sort their dead [ as seen on the press film 6 or 8 russians stripped of weapons left clothed with just dog tags had been left for a couple of days !] Putin knows his conscripts not up to it .. trying not to be cannon fodder thats why he wants cannon fodder from Syria. Mind you they should blend in well and be very difficult to spot!!! ...lol Belarus people likely to see the light before much longer!... imagine your troops being told get ready to go in and fight, but stand aside a moment while the latest convoy bringing a 1000 dead Russians to the morgue passes!
It's sinister to hear that the Russian Army are carrying portable crematoria with them. Any soldier killed in action will likely be cremated at the roadside. Whether or not the grieving relatives will get their loved ones ashes back is anyone's guess. If China decide to side with the Russians (and I can't see that they won't) then we can seriously expect WW3.

if the "rumours" are correct then no russian soldier has gone back to HIS HOME .. whether conscript or not, instead been dumped in BELARUS .. ?3 major generals ... killed ..? would likely get some sort of "better treatment" postumous award! officers above sergeant .. SERGEANT MAJOR EQUIVALENT upwards likely returned home in box or bag or maybe a looted vase!!! as will be regulars with service of more than a handful of years .... and a rank of above sergeant? A figure of 12,000 Russian dead has been noted on various sites and around 2000 Ukrainian soldiers. MAKES GRIM READING when you hear how many babies children women and aged civilians have been murdered. Shows how EVIL the Russian soldiers are ... Putin probably putting off ceasefire till he has flattened most of the towns or cities .. not worried about troops just get rid of the people?
Finnair and other airlines are reporting serious issues with their on-board GPS systems whilst flying over Kaliningrad and then trying to land at Eastern Finland airports. This proves to be a major issue with pilots who believe that Russian interference with GPS is probably trying to stop planes landing anywhere near their borders which presumably would include transport planes with supplies. Blackhawk gunship helicopters are cruising the border territories and more surveillance planes are over the same area at 50,000ft. Still looking pretty bad for the world but last night I said b*ll*cks to the situation and felt it was time to try and move on with my life. A cruise from Fort Lauderdale to Buenos Aires fitted the bill nicely - hey ho.
