Sorry Doc, accidentally deleted your video. I thought I had posted that by mistake instead of the highlights
It's not that I don't think he is good enough @Doc. I just think he is well suited to coming off the bench when the game is stretched. If Bamford can't play Friday I'm more than happy for him to start.
all about opinions Doc - I absolutely do rate him as a talent, but think there’s a reason why the vast majority of talents at other clubs are introduced in similar fashions and why 2 managers, including bielsa (who apparently knows a bit about football ) have preferred to use him as an impact sub. If he soon becomes a regular starter and pulls up trees it doesn’t mean they were wrong historically to not use him. It probably means they paced it right.
Norwich fans singing "you're not singing anymore" and the voices trail off as Joffy scores the winner
Reading some of the comments around the 90+3 min stage and then Marsch Lets not get too carried away, Wolves next but a welcome three points
Wow. A classic ER end to end game and somehow we won a must win game. Euphoria upon euphoria until the realisation that we're actually still extremely likely to go down. Obviously you can only beat what's put in front of you, so very well done to the all the players today. However any half decent PL team will pick us off in similar fashion to how Villa did and anyone thinking the Marsch system has similarities to the methods Bielsa drilled them in is living in cloud cuckoo land. Our main hopes are Bamford (what a difference), Phillips & Cooper coming back. Still a great day and now we go again Friday
Nor do the mangers, players or pundits, sounds good at the job interview and keeps the gobshite press in work.
Milky got a lot of time for your posts and most if your views, but i have watched a lot of football and watched our 23s for a few seasons. In my view Gelhardt is special, really special and deserves to have a go. Simple really when I look at the 100 games of Tyler Roberts and compare it to the 100 minutes if Gelhardt who makes stuff happen every time hes on the pitch. In my view We wasted 100 games on Roberts who has scored 2 goals in 2 seasons and got an assist. Joffy has scored 2 in 100 minutes plus got an assist and won 2 penalties. No contest. We all watched chance after chance missed today and if you just look at the chances Bamford missed you can say he was ring rusty but Joffy would have at least hit the target. Look at what happens when James plays up front, he has missed sitter after sitter and Joffy would deffo have scored. Bravery needed by the manager so he shouldnt lecture the players on bravery when he bottles it himself. As you say its all about opinions and yours are as valid as mine mate and we could both be wrong
