Second best all over the field. Watford have shown more passion, skill and determination.

Long over Armstrong? Ralph really doesn't rate him does he?

Can't help feeling the West Ham cup win got in their heads and the league became secondary. Most of the fans said we should focus on the cup and that's exactly what the players have done. They're young. It's not easy to criticise. The question is how much damage has this little run done for next week?

Players blatantly had an eye on next week. Still, at least we've helped operation relegate Everton.

Dreadful result that, especially on the back of the losses against Newcastle and Villa.

Just not good enough. Roll on end of the season

Well played Watford, they deserved that. So we have been out thought and out fought in 3 games in a row…

I think there were other more serious problems that I observed today.

Think it's just tiredness. Three tough games in 8 days. Against a rested team fighting for their lives. Always gonna be second to the ball. A lot of bad passing today, and I think that's because Watford hassled us as soon as we got in their half. Sissoko is a beast.

100 plus minutes and we never looked like scoring in the second half. Fair play Watford they fragmented the game in the second half and contained Southampton.

Watford played well. We didn't. There was some really basic passing and the like going astray, again, today. It does feel like we're a little bit on the beach/looking at the cup tie.

As I said before, when we play with intensity we're really good. When we don't, we're pretty horrible. We haven't for the past three games.

Also, we still lack a playmaker, let's face it. Has to be the priority in the summer.

I do wish we'd tried to bring Eriksen in.

I'd experiment with KWP pushed up. Perraud behind him.

I think this is the most important position. Outside of Armstrong I don't think any of our options are particularly good or consistent enough.
