just had a cheeky poke around the smb board. The brum toon match day thread reveals a few of the unwashed getting a bit worried as the game unfolded ahaaaaa.

and tbf in the last 180 odd mins we've played two established PL teams off the park, away from home. Impressed with how hard to beat we are becoming under AP.
 
The Mackems next 3 games are Everton away, Arsenal away and Liverpool at home. Our next 3 games are Bolton at home, Everton at home and Stoke away

havent seen who we have in our 4th games, but their match after the sequence you have listed doesn't get any easier - man city away - so we obviously will have another rhome match (wolves maybe), so we COULD have a bit of daylight between ourselves - however im taking nothing for granted when it come to us this season
 
indeed it is wolves at home - however we have villa away then united, and they have wba at home after the next 4 games
 
Wolves and Everton have the worst away records this season as well, I'll take nothing as a given result.
But finishing above them is a realistic target, and I'd love it Just love it if we did since Brucie made it one of his aims after the derby to be above us <laugh>

Wonder if he'd have a song for that as well

How funny would it be if we nicked their european place with an equal points total but having a better goal difference of +4.
 
to be honest I'd rather samsh there points total than beat them by a meager +4 goal difference. If we can carry on in the same form we have been showing and supply some more decent crosses to the strikers then i see no reason why we can't keep winning. Surely our midfield is strong enough to cope with the best of teams, but our final ball needs to improve!!!
 
There are only 5 teams that can potentially do the double over us this season. Man City have already done it.

The only 5 left are:
Man U
Stoke
Blackpool
Bolton
West Brom

3 Home 2 Away

I all honesty I can only see Man U being the only team to do that now. I'd have taken that at the start of the season.
