I think it's possibly to do with the fact that he doesn't bring anything to the squad, and therefore an unnecessary signing. Have a feeling MW was offered him and as we didn't get our targets just said yes. Big chance of also disrupting a tight knit squad as one of Amos/Dozzell/Johansen likely to miss out. He is no worse than anyone else but no better. Amos has looked likely to score in most games he has played Hendrick hasn't. Dozzell became one of the 1st players on team sheet but now has to sit there knowing Johansen and Hendrick are going to get picked in front of him, which must be depressing.
You seriously have to question the mindset of Warbie at the moment. This is not a match to sit back and invite pressure yet that side looks far too cautious. I hope I'm wrong but if we're just trying to contain we're possibly on a hiding here...
A total lack of pace is a major factor, add in experimenting with selection and formation at a vital part of the season and it doesnt bode well.
Warburton's brain has melted, so we've had a really good week to work on things he said. So those things included leaving out our most likely match winners and playing a forward line of midgets. Ridiculous
Nick London reckons Willock on the bench due sports science!. Goid ball winning by Hendtick but then he gave it away.
