Just watched the Diaz goal and Sanchez challenge via YouTube. It’s a red card every day and twice on a Sunday. Sanchez has no excuse for the height and angle of his left leg that hits Diaz and that’s before we get to his hand that hit him in the face. In fact his leg look bent enough that it is his knee that hits Diaz first
The only person I've seen say it wasn't a red is Bisc. Before the game I thought he may be conflicted on this one, looks like I was right
I am half and half cause I totally understand what you are saying Only reason I don’t agree is cause they are soft ****ers today
Definite red. No where near the ball, no attempt to play the ball and endangered the opponent. If the ball hadn't gone in it would have been a denial of a goalscoring opportunity too (moot point but still...)
It was a red.. but I don't care. We won and based on our history of being a man up, I doubt the scorelines would have been much different.
As the ref took no action against Sanchez, can the F.A give a red retrospectively or is this ruled out by VAR checking it.
Straight red is three games. However, the Man City v Brighton game (second game of potential suspension) on 19 March as been postponed
