We get what our overall performance deserved. We allowed a piss poor united team to score 3 goals against us for the second time this season. City only managed to score 2 against us in total. We only scored a total of two against a piss poor united defence in two games. We scored 4 past city in total. It is what it is ... no point worrying or over analysing it...we are a pretty average team most of the time and conte needs time and money to change that.

This is all well and good but I’m getting tired of not being able to say “With Kane, we win.” He, and Son, went missing when most needed. All that slipping over, and hoping for referees favourable decisions is just comical now.

The other 9 don’t step up enough when the main 2 drop a stinker. Lost 10 league games from 27, I’d say that alone shows that Spurs are miles off where they need to be.
That's because our two are not superstars and never have been. Two of the best players we've had in the PL era, no doubt. But you can literally count on one hand the number of times Kane or Son have bailed us out when it really matters. How many semi finals, finals and crucial season defining games have they simply gone missing? I wrote a week ago before everyone lost their **** because we beat Leeds and Everton that Kane and Son have come as far as they can with us, and us with them. But they will never stand in the same pantheon of players as the likes of Ronaldo, Messi, Salah, Lewandowski etc. People blame the team around them but I remember Gareth Bale carrying a similarly poor team to the brink of 4th and a far higher points total than we'll hit this season. How many times has Ronaldo rescued this piss poor United side? Look at Benzema and Modric midweek. How many times did Messi carry Barca single handedly? You just do not see the same ruthlessness from Kane and Son and it is why if they stay next season, we will need to spend a fortune on players elsewhere in the side who have that edge to them. There are no two ways about it. You cannot teach a player to be ice cold. Bale had it at the age of 21 in the San Siro against the best team in the world. Ginola had it. Klinsmann had it. Kane and Son, much as I appreciate them, do not. How much more evidence needs to be gathered to confirm this? It is unacceptable. Today we saw the difference between world class and very good and I'm afraid to say, the difference is in the head.
