I think there was no small amount of praise for his cameo appearance against Toon. We've had so many players like Djenepo over the years haven't we. Skacel, Boufal, Fernandes, Jonno Quick Forte, Chicken George Lawrence....
One of the things that has really impressed me as KWP develops in his left back role is his ability to put in clinical crosses with both feet which makes him unpredictable. I think the only thing that determines who plays between him and Perraud (assuming both fit) is the opposition style of play.
Don't disagree with any of that although my point was that a team gets stronger by eliminating mistakes on the training ground and individuals get better when they're given a chance in games to show what they've learnt. Resting players following a poor result? Yes, many would take that as being 'dropped' if not carefully handled.
Given the amount of money of offer for each place in the PL you can guarantee we will be fighting to win each game. Whether a player is on contract or loan won’t come into it. Decisions will be made based on football and managing the squad.
All true and that’s why decisions are made by the guys who know what happens in training I’m sure players know whether they are being ‘dropped’ or is a fitness or tactical decision I was referring to fans using that word It’s good we have viable options
I think it depends on other factors but around 2-5 million per place. http://eightyfivepoints.blogspot.com/2018/03/show-me-money-how-much-is-each-premier.html?m=1
You can quote it like that, but when we buy players we don’t just write a check for 5 million pounds, it doesn’t work like that. Actual money doesn’t change hands like that.
Yeah I was thinking more from a fans perspective it doesn't matter, that sort of money isn't to be sniffed at from the clubs viewpoint So far I don't think AA has been great, I'd like to see him get a run of games to see if he can make it at this level
True. And yes AA does need a run. I’m a bit concerned that Ralph maybe doesn’t think he’s good enough.
