Good result that. Brighton always tricky game even if they’re in poor form.

Shoukd have been at least 3 or 4 but some poor finishing / final pass.

It’s a worry that since the competition for places has increased our forwards have got greedier trying to do more, seems like to try cement their place. Klopp needs to hopefully have a word. You’re not gonna get picked just because you’re scoring. All round game and decision making is far more important.

His passing just isn't up.to it imo.

He's a runner and dribbler but is good with his head in the middle.

We just need a bit more linking play as others have said but I think he has something for that role at the same time.

Mane is not as good as a central player. Really need Jota or Firmino there. Mane is a makeshift central in an emergency.

Gruelling. The number of games is obviously taking its toll and the energy has dropped, but we can do no more than keep winning.

Its a red for me because its dangerous and reckless.

Diaz scoring shouldn't change the way the ref deals with it and in this case it has imho because if he doesn't score the ref sends the keeper off.

Keepers flying out all arms and legs and eyes closed had vvd out for a year remember.

another one chalked off which apart from Diaz is probably the best that can be said . Everything feels a bit "forced" atm rather than just being instinctive and the front 3 need a slap while being told firmly that passing the ball to someone better placed is not only allowable it is in fact to be applauded .

Think I said this the last game
I think we are trying to just manage games out
With as least effort as possible
Not sure how easy it is to turn performances on and off but think we are going to find out :)

We finished last season really strongly so hopefully we're due for a second wind.
The problem I foresee is that both City and we are capable of an extended run of wins, but we're a long way into ours whereas they've just started again. They could expect to win the rest of their games but for us to do so would mean a run of 19? wins - that's a tall order.
We're surely certain to drop some points, so let's hope they do as well.
