PGMOL saying it wasnt sufficient for a red They're saying it would've been a yellow but VAR can't give yellows
Well given it was an assault on diaz I thought would check him out a bit longer. God knows why ref stopped it for lamptey. He played on until Brighton lost the ball ffs
Brighton started off very sharp, but we gradually took control. Should be more than 1-0 up if Salah was not so greedy. He has been very poor in the past few games at spotting anyone in a better position to score and also not releasing the ball quickly enough or trying to take on 4 players like he is the best footballer in school aged 10.
Yeah first 15/20 minutes until we scored they were by far the better team. Since then we’ve dominated it
It still exists but the actual rule is you won't be sent off for a genuine attempt to win the ball but if no real attempt you will be hence a penalty given for a pull back on the shirt or a trip by GK after the ball goes will also be a red .
Also think have to say the pass from Matip was outstanding. I actually thought it was TAA that’s how good it was.
Rio says its a red. Crouch says its a red. Mcmanaman calls it an awful decision. Keeper didn't need to lift his leg like that.
The two can not be compared. Today keeper spread himself, Yes there us obvious contact, but its a contact sport. On vigil it wasn't the spread it was the deliberate follow through that caused the injury
It's red or nothing isn't it? I don't think they can give a yellow for that because if it's a foul from a goal scoring position it's a red.
