There is something fascinating about Conte managing this squad that's a take on the unstoppable force meeting the immovable object. It's as if one of the world's best trainers has been brought in to try to get a theoretically gifted show jumping horse to quit balking at hurdles. He's able to get it over some jumps with flying colors (+9 GD in the last two games). He's able to get over some extremely high bars (Man City). And yet just when things seem to be going smoothly and a certain amount of confidence is starting to seep in, there's the rider in the drink again. My feeling at this point is that he continues to give it his best and hasn't entirely given up hope...but has added glue factory to his list of contacts.
3rd January 2022: Man Utd 0 Wolves 1 4th February 2022: Man Utd 1 Middlesbrough 1 (Boro win on penalties) 8th February 2022: Man Utd 1 Burnley 1 Just saying...
Alright, so how many of our squad are out for 2-3 weeks due to De Gea coughing on them when defending a corner?
So predictable. We are such a good team to play when desperate for a win ... unless you are leeds or Everton that is! Conte leaving speech currently being composed on the sideline.
Good finish but why were they giving him that much time and space when it was obvious he was lining up a shot
